iTunes -Help Needed-

Dear y'all.

I'm having the weirdest issue with iTunes, and I'm starting this thread to ask you guys for help. This can also become a general iTunes Help thread, so post your problems here as well.

My problem is that every time I play Britney's Hold It Against Me, my iTunes crashes and closes down, and I have to restart it. Usually after I've done that, I can play the song. But the next day it happens again.

I don't think this has anything to do with the track, but with the fact the Hold It Against Me is the only song I've ever actually bought from the iTunes store, because I normally buy physical CD's and rip them to iTunes. So the problem seems to be my iTunes crashes when I try to play a song I legally bought, as opposed to songs I ripped or downloaded.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem, or knows how to get rid of it? Honestly, I know the whole world is like obsessed with Apple, but their products seems to have quite some issues for me, this isn't the first.. Help is much appreciated !

Ummm, if you have windows 7 maybe you could try running itunes in windows xp compatibility mode. Or try to reinstall it or an earlier version (usually the itunes updates break more than they fix or improve).

lol. This is like the most obvious thing and I didn't even think about it. Thanks, I'll try that!

@hsienko: Well I run on Vista so that shouldn't be the problem. Or actually.. maybe that's exactly the problem.

iTunes kills itself every time it has to hear that song, that's why.

Just kidding.
