The Avex department based in Beijing had come to the end due to financial situation and their way to pick up new artists.

alan had been transferred to another company. artists under Avex Taiwan are not affected.

Oh wow, kind of surprising news o_O

I guess that Avex will just employ other companies as subsidiaries to publish albums in China. Like Aderianu said, I wonder what will happen with AyuChina's and Avex's relationship?

Did we ever know if they were getting their CDs from avex china? After all, they were the Japanese presses so perhaps they were getting them from the main label in Japan?

I dont think it will affect anything from HK and taiwan, maybe only china products.
poor alan, the way u said that she is "transferred" sound like she is a product. hahaha. she's such a rare gem in the jpop industry.

No, she's with a new company in China now.

She got out of the boat before it sank lol

And to be honest, alan was Avex China's biggest star with her releases. Once she left, Avex China didn't really have any popular stars under their label because most of their artists are with Avex Taiwan.

I wonder if it has anything to do with J-Pop becoming less and less popular outside of Japan as K-Pop steals the spotlight?

But I think it's because of this mondial financial crisis as well. Anyway it's really sad .
