"Days" Lovers!
After I read a lot of reviews about NEXT LEVEL album especially regarding "Days". I must admit that I felt the same about this song. It's just simple, beautiful and just nice. I mean, it doesn't need that strong beats like No way to say or other ayu's ballads but the simplicity is just enough.
Recently I caught myself listening to "Days" over and over again ^^ It does give me special feeling, especially the intro music (I first listen to her live orchestra arrangement in FNS which really makes me touched) and when she start singing 'kimi ga iru...' it's just beautiful Last edited by se7entheaven; 23rd March 2009 at 11:45 AM.

Haha~ Yes ^^
It's beautiful and simple. All the singles other than Days from NEXT LEVEL have been different, unique and very intense - Days shows that Ayumi still writes good ballads also. <3 Although my favourite single released so far from her latest album is Sparkle, Days is still one of my favourite ballads from her. ^-^ She sings it beautifully live as well..

Days is like the best song in the world... best song Ayu has ever sung and written... it really is THAT special to me.
I love Days, a lot.

At first I thought it was rather bland, simple, and not special in the least. However, as I actually listened to what she was saying (as in, I translated it as I listened to it) it started to really make an impact on me. I absolutely loved it and listened to it on repeat for days, singing along, sometimes crying depending on my mood. It makes all the difference being able to understand what is being said, and that made me really love the song.
 The same thing happened to me with Together When...

I love Days so much. I think this is the best single song from NL (1st runner up will be Sparkle, and I dun really care the other two). The lyric is simple but beautiful, the melody is touching, and I love her simple vocal there

Hell yes!
I love Days! I really love how it catches the Christmas/Winter ballad! And the lyrics is so beautiful too.

I think it's very honest, and thats probably one of it's stronger points. Also, it doesn't follow the typical Ayu Ballad formula to a tee, so it is something new. It fits well in NEXT LEVEL as one of the few ballads, since the other ballads are very simple and...different from her usual ballad.
The AO version is truly beautiful.

Days is a gorgeous ballad lyrically, but it suffers from a really bad composition and arrangement. I still like it though, especially it's lyrics, which really hit home for me ;_;
