Ayu's Concert Stages

What do you guys think of Ayu's concert production through the years? Especially her stages? And from which concert do you think is the most elaborate, grandest?

Mine's from Dome Tour. that stage is waaay too overkill, and Stadium Tour, too. but for Arena Tours, i love ToS stage.

^ I agree about Dome Tour Stage which was too small to accommodate such venue but maybe it's 2001 lol

The stage from AT05 until AT08 and then AT10 didn't change much, but from that kind of stage I would prefer the multi screen ones from AT06 or AT10 because it's sophisticated and easy to suit various concert act needs As for the stage walk itself I also like from these ATs. A simple catwalk with circular end, don't mind the long catwalk though.

Her CDL stage is also kinda the same over the years with a little differences here and there so there's not much to comment about this.

And it reminds me of AT12's stage which have the turning circular walkway, just like those in Concert Tour Volume 1 XD it's cool but space consuming. Also Concert Tour Volume 2's stage is cool, I love how she turns from that one gloomy frightening stage to a multi tiered stage with projections.

I'm not fond of her circular stage though, I found it weird because we don't have backdrops or something to make an environment with.

You know when I first saw the stage for CDL 07-08, I was like... That looks kinda familiar. And then I realised the stage format was the same as the one from A museum.

As far as favorite stages go, I'd say AT05, 06, and 10. AT05's was just so simple and yet at the same time, it seemed that you could do a lot with it. Also, the set design with the backdrop and all felt really grand, sort of like a castle of sorts. And then it kinda set the 'trend' for Ayu to use stages in that format. With AT06, it's the screeeeeeeeeeens I was pretty impressed with it. AT10 is kinda like the same with her other stages I guess, but it's the graphics that are imprinted on the stage, like the casino inspired design, and curtains, it felt like it was a show; and yeah, the central theme of the tour was pretty much putting up a show. But I loved it so much. Felt so versatile.

I thought the HOTEL Love songs arena tour stage was pretty unique too, as with the concert. Though I felt that the crane being at the center was awkward. It felt kinda useless to me, despite Ayu being able to see the audience who are further back at the arena, but there really isn't much of an interaction factor to it. The side stage was pretty unnecessary imo. Just using it for kiss o' kill seemed a bit frivolous.

Oh and another thing, I felt that the circle stages are kinda meh. Sure, it's cool that there are individual rings on the stage that can move freely, but I think there isn't much you can do with them. I guess that's why Ayu only used those for CDLs and toned down concerts (POWER of MUSIC).

I really liked classic Ayu concert stages too. concert tour 2000 Part 1's and CDL 00-01's especially. They were so pretty and grand. Though there isn't much room for audience interaction but it's still really nice to look at. DOME TOUR's was pretty okay, the contractible runway was the highlight, but other than that, it was so-so. CDL 01-02's was a MESS. It was just... The worst one as far as Ayu's concert stages go. CDL 02-03's one was pretty cool, though there's that certain retro factor to it. But I guess it wasn't a bad thing.
