Thank You Ayu

Just wanted to write about how Ayu helped me. I went out for 2 years with my best friend, both loved each other and spent everyday together. She used to make me music playlists about us and it did include Ayu. I did not know who she was. We broke up for a lot of reasons, my life completely fell apart. I got dismissed from my Pharmacy Program, debt, getting kicked out of my house, and basically wanted to commit suicide for a year. Then I started to listen to her music. It helped me cope with everything. Slowly, I started to really enjoy living again. Even though I don't understand Japanese, the music spoke to me. Perhaps Ayu did not experience some of her song lyrics like Appears, but I experienced the physical and emotional part of those lyrics and it helps that someone else experienced those troubling times.

I now got accepted into a Medical Lab Program and graduate with a license, hopefully getting my Masters in Blood Banking. Lifting weights and creating the best physical version of myself has now been a lifestyle for the past 14 months. Each squat, deadlift, pull-up and sweat has Ayu's music playing in my ears. I love the body I have attained and still want to continue to craft the perfect body. I have gained new friends at work and school, and I am now considering to start dating again. I am starting to save money for some tattoo work that I would to do in six months. I want to get all of it done at one time and want to get side abs shredded to emphasize those tattoos. I play on getting the AYU logo on my heart. A blooming flower with one petal falling down with lyrics from vogue on that petal on my left side ab. A bird with its wings stretched out with Depend On You Lyrics on the wings. And finally, I want the last two stanzas of Scar and the middle & last stanza of Appears on my lats to lower back.

Next year or 2015, I do plan on taking a trip to Japan during the time of Ayu's concert, because I got to see the lovely lady in person since she refuses to come to New York. Does anybody here know Japanese customs or the etiquette of the Domes she plays at? I plan on going with the least amount of clothes as possible and just want to rock out to her music. Gotta show the body this lady has helped sculpt.

Interesting story. Ayu's music is definitely life-changing, I'm also saying this from personal experience. I'm glad that you managed to step out of your depression, this means you are a strong person. Welcome on AHS!

Truly lovely. It's been fun reading your story.

Isn't it somewhat astonishing to perceive the tremendous amount of profound emotions that literally connect you with a certain music?

It is. Especially if you neither read the lyrics while listening to a song for the first time(s), like in my case.

Good for you man! Keep up the good work. You will have an amazing time when you go to see her. It's quite the experience, and no matter what you do, you can never truly be prepared for it to unfold before your very eyes, live.

Ayu is important to me, and all of us~ She did help me getting through some of the hardship I had to endure in my life. Although I don't understand japanese language, but all of her songs were helping me. It feels like I understand her pain, happiness, loneliness, love through her music. Thank you Ayu!
