I'm making a new Ayu fan site!

So we all know how much we love Ayu, but most of her old sites are no longer being updated. I decided to make my own website (yes, one that I actually pay to have up.)

I mostly wanted to do one because I can't find a site where all Ayu's songs and translations would be in one site in a way that would satisfy me. But then I thought - why not do more?

That's where YOU come in!!

I want this site to be something for all Ayu fans, not just me, so my question is...
what do you want to see on an brand-new Ayu fan site?

I'm totally open for suggestions and ideas, because I'm so confused what to put there!!

This is how I'm placing the lyrics. And when you click on the lyrics you want to see (I haven't gotten that far yet!!) - you get both the romaji and English translation next to each other.

I also really miss http://www.eneabba.net/ayu/, so I wanted also to have something similar to that:

The name of the page right now is "The Colours of Ayumi Hamasaki" - not the best name, just one I decided on the spot. Don't know if I'll keep it and again, suggestions, please!!

I'm not asking for anyone else to pay for it, so don't worry about that!
I really do hope I get support to this idea though, it's not fun if I'm the only one using it x) And no, it's not up yet - and probably won't be for a while. I want it to be as perfect as possible!

magazine scans --> might be difficult to find them all, I know zyrex has a nice collection, but not updated since ~2013

cd+dvd scans --> definately going on the website!
photobook scans --> If I'm able to find the older ones, yes! Newer are going at least since they are pretty easy to find
old and new interview translations --> I'll put what I can find, with credit of course
some sort of gallery
lyric translations in more than one language
wallpapers
news --> this might be difficult since I do not follow Ayu 24/7 and simply do not have time for that... :/

I'd love to have all the lyrics for the newer albums in one place. Also maybe karaokes for non-singles, MIDIs, gallery by album era, sales/chart positions? Just some random ideas.

I'd love to have pictures on one site by that I mean magazine scans in chronological order,also cd+dvd scans and photobook scans...this can take A LOT of time though.. I would also love to see old and new interview translations gathered on one site

This sounds amazing! I think adding lyrics translations in more languages would be a cool feature for the website (I can help with Spanish translations!)

Print screen and paste it on Paint can be such a hassle!
You should try VLC media player, it lets you screenshot easily.

Can you be more specific what you mean with karaoke for non-singles?

What sort of gallery were you all hoping for? To find all pictures of Ayu ever taken is impossible

That's a great idea ! What would be the best is to have all of her lyrics + english translation in one place, because DivineAyu stopped updating since LOVE again ):

Hey Sandy that is an incredible job. Have great memories from sites like eneabba and I miss it too. I am glad you are going for an more update version. Not sure if I have any more ideas. Maybe, since you are not following Ayu daily, just the main big news when a new album is coming. How far she is, release dates etc.

I am working currently on an Ayu Gallery.
And yes you can´t collect every single image and such, but I am trying to get it as complete as possible^^

The site looks like it'll be nice and clean; pleasing to the eye and easy to find things. I'd definitely refer to this for different things, especially lyrics. Good job!

I'm not sure if this is a realistic/easy-to-do idea or if it was something that would work for your website but I really fancy the idea of Ayu releasing some sort of physical "encyclopedia" of her lyrics. So why not have a digital fan made one?

I was thinking it would include lyrics by album (with an English translation of course!) with a few pages dedicated to each of the songs lyrics.

On each song's pages, with the lyrics I would have:

• Full credits including instruments on the track etc
• Pictures from the era (like the off-shoots from the A Complete booklet, behind the scenes pictures, PV photos)
• Any related comments such as something Ayu said about the recording of the song or her personal thoughts on it
• Stats about the song's chart position etc
• As the website owner, any of your own thoughts on the song

Sort of like a database for anything you could want to know about your favourite Ayu song.

As someone else mentioned, it would be great to have a website with translations of all of Ayu's songs in one place as Divine Ayu is no longer updating. I really like the design of your website too!

Wow that looks awesome and I'm super excited for when you make it public!

I'm most interested in the Eneabba-esque aspect. Now that she hardly performs on TV anymore it shouldn't be hard to keep up to date either haha. Just concerts really :-p getting them all up in the first place will be the tough part!

I used to have a huge library of her lives but that computer is long since dead haha.



One thing to add would be a tour goods page. I love looking at her old goods but it's harder and harder to find pictures as years go by without putting some effort into it haha.

Kanji lyrics would be also nice, I neven seem to find them together with translation and romaji.

And just a cosmetic suggestion, setlist is nicer to read if it's like standard song under song, not in a line, but maybe that's just me.

If you're using windows 7, 8 or 10 you have a snipping tool which is much better than printscreen or just play the video in VLC media player, it has this screenshot button.

Just another thought, I often don't remember what's on the bonus discs of concerts, the behind the scenes etc, it would be nice to have some shots from that as well, at least a few, plus maybe a general description on what's there.

Some links to other Ayu sites would be nice to, but with descriptions whether there's a gallery worth seeing or good translations, or unique translations, or translations in other languages, or subs.
