Concert (disc) scans?

Hi all,

If there's a thread about this, I haven't found it.

I'm looking for a thread that contains high-quality scans of the concert *discs* - not the covers, but the physical discs themselves.

Lately I've been ripping my purchased concert DVDs and Blu-rays, and burning them back onto inkjet-printable discs. I also just got myself an inkjet printer that can print directly on discs, so the only thing I'm missing is *high quality* scans of the discs themselves.

I have an "okay" scanner, but I suspect there already exists better-quality scans. Plus it would save me the trouble of scanning them myself.

Is there such a thread on here somewhere?

Good resource, thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't have some of the more recent discs (I'm looking for concert blu-rays).

Ultimately the software that came with my scanner/printer does an okay job of scanning discs at a fairly high resolution (the default it picks produces 1400x1400 images) and trimming blank areas - I can literally scan and then print the scanned image with no change and produce results I'm pretty happy with. So I scanned all my discs in a relatively short amount of time.

For those curious: The scanner/printer is a Canon Pixma MX922 ($99 Canadian!). I swore years ago I'd never again buy an inkjet printer, but I haven't yet come across a color laser printer than can print directly on discs.

Pretty happy with my backups, and the originals are now being kept away safe in a box.
