How to resume download from Yahoo! Briefcase ?

Uhhh.............. I'm in deep frustation..... Wish someone can help.

I want to DL some song(s) from ayu's re-issued single(s) on haku's Yahoo! Briefcase. About 25 song(s). And I know, most people here have fast connection, so actually most of you never experiencing problem like mine before.

I was on a connection slower than 56K, it took me 5 minute(s) to DL 1 MB at maximum speed. My transfer rate while using DAP is 3.0 KB/sec. But, that's not the main negative side of my connection, the fact is my connection is very unstable, it used to disconnected so often, not on my own though, just happened by itself. Well, most of the time when I DL file larger than 1000 KB, maybe 4964 KB, I always got disconnected by my ISP at 1500 KB or 2000 KB, if I was lucky, I might be able to pass 3000 KB, but that's only happened maybe 1 in 10 attempt(s). I try to used GetRight too, but both DAP nor GetRight can't resume the DL from Yahoo! Briefcase. If I got disconnected at 1500 KB while downloading 3000 KB file, I had to restart from the beginning again, but it is NOT a guarantee that the 2nd attempt will be successful. So, yeah.... I spend my whole day just to DL one 4964 file, I try & try, but then I cry & cry.... with no sign of success.

So, does anyone here know how can I resume DL from Yahoo! Briefcase? Did I had to adjust setting(s) on DAP or GetRight? Or, should I used another download manager to make it possible to resume?

Please, if you know the solution for my problem(s), help me please...
I'll be really appreciate your effort.

Perhaps you should paste the URL for the file into whatever program(s) you use to download files and hope it resumes. The only problem with that is that those types of likes have a form of "session ID", meaning after a while, they may not work anymore. I've never tried using a DL program for briefcases, so I can't say for sure that this will work

That's exactly what I did everytime, I copy & paste the URL into GetRight or DAP, but then on DAP, it says "Resume NOT Supported". While on GetRight, it says "This server doesn't support resuming".

the url of yahoo briefcase is generated automatically when you logged on... so it would change everytime with your session... the link will expired after certain time (5-10 minutes) and also they disable part download, so you can't start your download from the middle of the file... I hope this helps...

Oh... i c.... so... it is impossible to resume DL from YB...

But... ahhh... nevermind.... haku already found another solution for me to DL the file(s).....
