Maybe DAI had a contract and now it's over, and he felt he didn't wanna compose anymore songs.

and maybe Ayu got composer's block~

Dude, it's *completely* understandable if clavmak didn't know CREA was Ayu. I think the laughing icon is a little inappropriate.

Anyway, I agree they were the best. I wish I knew what was up, but I don't. I want Ayu would start composing her own music again.

I know what is up with DAI though...he realized his music was getting boring and uninsteresting just like Mitsuru and decided to relax for a while. honestly, the guy needs some recycling lol
As for CREA, people loved so much that ayu-ready career of ayu's I can see how she ended up getting way too deep into that crap TV show many people adore and just forgot to write things ever again.

Ayu-ready was ayu's worst mistake in her career. I can't even understand how her fans liked that thing

She was overexposed enough as it was. If I were in Japan, I think I would have hung myself at having to see her as much as people do. It made little sense for her to have a TV because it's not like she needed MORE publicity or anything. It wasn't even that interesting of a show.

Plus, she was being overworked before and then she has to make a TV show as well. Yeah, right. She should have just focused on her music and maybe I'd still be buying her new stuff.

Dai Nagao is currently producing his new band, not sure if he'll still stay in DoAs...

Really? Then we've got another ELT-case on our hands.

But listening to stuff that DAI wrote somewhat recently, like Uehara Takako's "Air" and Kouda Kumi's "Gentle Words", I think he needs a break as well. He's been composing for how many years again?

I agree... too much publicity and less focusing on her music.

when did the first episode air again anyways? and I thought Ayu was supposed to host another show? Did that fall through?

I'm personally am not too fond of DAI coming back now, after his recent D.A.I material as well as the songs he did on RAINBOW...

H/\L's arrangments has really dropped in standards also imo.

Poor DAI...who cares about Ayu? Not me...I wish Do As Infinity would make more stuff, but I think they realized their career is over, unlike Ayu who wants to drag her career till she just can't make anymore music...

Isn't that what most artists do?--keep making music until nobody will buy it anymore. That's why SAS and all those old groups are still around. She's still one of the top selling Japanese musicians (something that DAI never really was), so why would she quit when she could become more rich than she already is? I mean, she's already slowed down her releases drastically. And she admitted that her era has passed...I think she's kinda just going with the flow and enjoying herself now.
