i got BoA Live 2004 and Hikki's budokan
Budokan=AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME vocals. But a bit boring....costumes were really dull...:-/...nothing really wow worthy. BoA=OK vocals, cool dancing..(most of the time). Costumes were better but not THAT much better, but more wow-worthy. I'd go with BoA, personally. |

[Fanboy-mode]omg NO IT'S NOT!!!! It's Namie's BEST TOUR and this years best. First of all, she sings ALL the songs live and she dances in the ones that call for it at the SAME TIME, and she sounds brilliant.[/Fanboy-mode] Second of all, the tracklisting is awesome, all her singles rolled into 1 concert. Phantoma, I sent you tha PSM clip remember? =) that's from the SO CRAZY tour. She looks great throughout too. The dance sequence in Body Feels EXIT is brilliant =), she's so light on her feet and she manages to stay on key throughout the whole song, as with 99% of the others.
Hikki's Budokan concert is boring, really boring, and she changed the songs around. She has no sense of taste, and dresses like an old hobo woman throughout. Her voice isn't very impressive either. It has a good set list tho. BoA's concert is alright. It's good in the first hour, then it gets boring when the old songs begin. Beware of lipsynching (at least in the TV version), she lip synched part of Midnight Parade.

I'd agree with Namie and BoA, but I found Hikki's concert great. And she looked cute in the yellow dress and her voice was fine. Namie's vocals were better though, and she was moving around a lot more. If I had to choose one though, get Namie's concert. She's got great setlists, vocals, and dances. Very nice.

LUNA SEA THE FINAL ACT DVD however, it's hard to get them now since all online stalls that i know of have been sold out.
This dvd package contains the last two concerts held near the end of year 2000. And inside, is just the genius musical talents that this great band harbours and the powerful voice of the vocalist. The massive fans make the atmosphere really hectic and warm. And since it's their last concert, u can expect alot of tears and touching moments. I've only watched the first concert (haven't watch the second) and I'm like SO DAMN IMPRESSED. Oh yeah but if you're looking for concerts with more dancing, fanciful props and clothings, more visuals than voice/musical talents, den you shouldn't get this dvd ![]()

Shena Ringo - gekokujyo xstasy.
Excellent excellent performance from her, full of lovely off-shots featuring parts of rehearsals and her goofing around with her band. Shena Ringo - Electric Mole Her more recent DVD, of her concert at the Budokan. Massive compared to her gekokujyo live, and features more recent songs from her "karuki zaamen kuri no hana" album. Great music being played here, but abit too polished, I would say. But no Ringo fan should be without this, cause it has all her mole-removal antics, And features her current band, Tokyo Jihen, which plays excellently. the brilliant green - SUPER TERRA 2000 The only tbg concert vid available on the market is also one of the best around. I don't really know how to describe it but it's very colourful and.....joyous, cause Tomoko's really energetic in this one, and even the stage looks funky, with the rainbow-coloured lip design ala the cover of their Terra 2001 album. Also has a reasonable amount of off-shots. Great music, recommended to Any jpop fan. |

Onitsuka Chihiro - ULTIMATE CRASH '02 LIVE AT BUDOKAN
Hey, it's Oni. Nothing more needs to be said. =) Every Little Thing - Many Pieces Tour 2003 Mocchi's vocals are really good in this tour. Plus, it's a 2-disc thing, so you're paying for pretty good stuff. |
