Just come back from seeing The Darkness!!

Firstly i really dont want any hatred towards The Darkness in this thread please, i know they're not everyones cup of tea but please just keep it out of here but Wow.....is all i can say those of you that say The Darkness can't perform should see them live, they are honestly amazing. I watched them at Sheffield Halam Arena(it sold out within a few days i think?)Oh and for those of you that dont know, The Darkness is a british rock band btw

The show started off with Support group Do Me Bad Things they were surprisingly good, although the crowd was kinda cold with them to be honest and not everyone had arrived anyway but one of the singers soo reminded me of Freddie Mercury :shock: didnt sound like him at all obviously but looked sooo much like him, lol. I cant remember how many songs they did to be honest, my eye was hurting so i kinda took time out lol and didnt watch them much ^_^ the 2nd support group were Ash(wow 2nd time in like 4 months, lol) and Tim lit his guitar which was pretty kewl and they sung some old ones and i think it was 2 new ones...or it might have just been orpheus....cant really remember, and the crowd certainly warmed up then as everyone was arriving as well. Yeah so they went offstage and everyone like dashed to the toilet (including me) and then everything went dark and music started playing and The Darkness started stepping on, everyone was like screaming...and i was crying... and i nearly passed out when Justin walked on stage lol (dont look at me like that!) and they played hmm nearly everything off their Permission to land album with the exception of hmm "holding my own" and "Love is only a feeling" although they might have played "Love is only a Feeling" but i cant remember *headache* and they were honestly amazing, and at one point Justin dressed up in like Pirates of the carribean style but the hat was hurting him so he threw it off lol!and he swears so much lol which was good because in a way everything felt more relaxed and he was being natural not like some kinda fake (which he seriously isn't) and he changed into the trademakr spandex catsuit which was all sparkly and silver and sparkled alot when he shook his ass at everyone( ) and at one point he like came out on this like massive stuffed tiger(seriously it was huge!) and he got on it, and took his guitar with him, and then this tiger like lifted into the air and it like went around the standing area at the front(in the air this was) playing his guitar which was seriously pretty awesome!lol! It was this girls Bday and Justin Hawkins sang Happy Birthday to her! *passes out* but it seriously was honestly amazing the sound was just immense and Justin's vocals were amazing, hit every note (although he started playing the wrong song or wrong chord on some occasions and had to start again lol) but seriously i mean to anyone that doesnt like them here sorry for the rambling but i really needed to say this, because they honestly were amazing! and the crowd just loved them, honestly loved them, they also played some stuff from the new album...i honestly cant wait they sound brilliant!Ill be getting photos processed withhin the next few days so ill be able to show you then yayness! Errm christ sorry for rambling and i thought id actually cut alot out errm heres The Darkness shirt i bought anyway, i bought a few other stuff as well but yeah you know.

Yay the Darkness! They're awesome, that Christmas song they have was our Christmas theme last year. And whenever I hear them I think of Summer 2003
