Ayu....is she real??
I dun know why but i've been havin such feelings...
sometimes ayu just doesn't seem real to me....itz like...shez a dream..it seems shez a doll...just that when i look at her...sometimes it seems the pieces just don't fit together...so like a dream i've tried to analyze my thought..why have such feelings... at first i thought itz 'cus ayu wanna be like a doll...'cus ayu said she's a dream herself... then i thought it maybe computerized effects...when u look at her pics sometimes.....i think datz computer alterations that just make her looks...unreal....her skin can be so very smooth...too smooth that it seems lifeless....like a doll's procelin face.... i dun know why..but these feelings would come up some time..then fade away..then come up again... ayu can be so unreal...or....SURREAL

i agree..she seems very unreal because she is such a power icon
i want to see her in person but..the thing about her makeup and such.. models always get alterations by photo editing..thats why it may seem like her face is perfect..

Ha ha! I used to wonder if Ayu had a twin. I mean, the girl is sooo busy! I doubt she gets much sleep. Yeah, Ayu's skin does look pretty flawless in pictures, but anyone's skin can look flawless once it's touched up. If you look at pics of Ayu from concerts and press conferences and stuff, she definitely looks like a real person.

I think that a big chunk of the published images we see of her are air-brushed. They just have to be 'cause her skin is just 100% perfectly smooth. Sometimes it's so smooth that it's unrealistic, so it's probably just some air-brushing by the magazine people. I think it's better for them to just publish her the way she looks naturally, because she is so beautiful even without air-brushing!

Well she's an artist after all so we will hardly see her looking more natural....that happens with most artists......Magazine uses that evil trick; When they want to promote someone, to show how pretty and important that person is they'll let the details less sharp so that we can't see the skin with all the details. When they want to say someone is evil in order to people hate yhat person as well they will make the skin details sooooo sharp you'll see every facial hair from that person and every pore so that the person can look disgusting or something like that!!!!!! Media surely has some smart tricks!!

I've thought about this before, but it's hard to tell what looks real or not, especially with the ever changing enhancements in PCs. It's gotten to the point that you can change just about anything you want about yourself with just a mouse click, so although I'm not sure if Ayu's pics are the "real deal", they do look a bit too good to be true at times...

Aww, Omega, have a little faith in Ayu. She is just incredibly photogenic. Besides, at photo shoots, photographers take 100s of photos. We only get to see the chosen best ones. We don't get to see all those blinking Ayu shots! And besides, some people just photograph well.

There was a TV show on either TLC (The Learning Channel) or the Discovery Channel about how fake magazine pics really are. They showed a model wearing simple makeup in a bathing suit doing a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue. After the pictures people were showing how they edited her stomach to look smaller, her face to look more rounder and smooother, how to enhance her makeup, and even how to change her hairsyle altogether. After the photo editing, she looked completely flawless and much different than she looked in the original pictures.
All of this ties into the idea about whether Ayu had plastic surgery or not. (Please don't start that argument again. . .) Computers can work wonders and they can make you look gorgeous in a fraction of a second, doing what simple makeup isn't capable of doing. Sure makeup can hide blemishes, but they can't tuck in your stomach or give you the perfect smile. Computers today are becoming more used for giving people the look that nature couldn't and sooner or later they will be used to even more beauty extremes. Ayu herself is naturally beautiful and overtime she has matured into a beautiful woman outside and inside with or without makeup, but with the help of computers she's even more of that image of divine beauty.
