TO BE is quite odd. O_o So are ANGEL'S SONG and Real me. A lot of Ayu's PVs are weird.
And don't forget the Trilogy. Now that's a PV that is weird. It's rather confusing. I don't think even masa gets it. O_o

WHATEVER is one of her weirdest o.o that angel-girl tangled up dead in the wires is so creepy. Alterna and Ourselves are pretty weird too~

Haha ... now that you guys mentioned it ... YAR! Ayu's PVs are indeed weird! I totally didn't know WHAT ON EARTH the trilogy (vogue, Far away, SEASONS) was about, why there was an alligator in Greatful Days, what's with the flooding water and creppy angel girl in WHATEVER and of course ... walking proud's ENTIRE storyline (was there even one at all? Just something about robo-ayu and real ayu? Sorry, totally lost the PV there as well ...)

Then again there's kanariya's weird crows and scary people, YOU's slow motion dropping apples and flowers and the weird portrait frames, No Way to Say's (ULTRA UGLY LOOKING) Santa, ANGEL'S SONG's werewolf, Voyage's psycho-ayu, psycho-doctors and not to mention the utterly FAKE arrows (that scene where the arrows are being shot ... that was SO SO SO FAKE!)

They're weird ... but haha, I think most of them are fine! Yar, weird indeed but I'm still able to catch MOST of them ...

kanariya: I wouldn't say it's wierd. But I dont understand the meaning. I think with this PV ayu was expressing raw emotion (both with this and the song) and raw emotion is very chaotic. So, I believe that it's personal only to her and thats why it's incomprehensible for anyone else. So I dont think it's wierd, but still strange. But I appreciate it for some reason. It's a work of art, almost.

clearing things up here:
Walking proud: A PV where human civilization is too dependant on technology. hence the robots. Everyone is a cyborg now, except for ayu, the only full human left. You notice everything is fake and made by technology. This is shown n the beginning where a switch is flipped and everything in the area outside is "turned on". The ayu with black hair is a robot and trying to replace the real one in the dress, (hence her singing and such) The boy's purpose is still unknown, but you know what I like to think? That he represents the rest of us. The boy is oblivious to the fact that everyone is now fake. So are we oblivious to the fact that technology is taking control of things and we dont even notice.

she has reunited with her past problems and overcame them. Thats what the whole PV was about, one ayu was the past, the other was present and you see present chasing the past..and at the end the present does overcome painful things in her past. hence the past ayu disappearing.

No way to say: again, not really much of a defined meaning. The man in the suit who gives her a gift is thought to be her father, who she has never seen. Which is why she looks so shocked when he takes off his mask; and so happy that she recieves the gift from him. The Santa, we can presume, is someone very important to her. The spirit boy is unknown, but I dont think he plays much of a meaning.

PS: let me say something about the WP, NWTS, and RAINBOW analysis, that was actually discussed here. It's not official or anything, just interpreted meanings by a bunch of people in the Enquires section (well, I think the topics are gone or really old) So it's not automatically right or anything. But it's popular theories backed up by a bit of evidence.
