Does this say out of print to you?

A Song for XX is still quite regularly available. Just check some webstores.

This is me:

Go to your local CD store. They will have CDs from 1999 there.
It's not like there were a limited number of A Song for XX. I wouldn't be surprised if it were still readily available. I would be surprised if one could find appears or Fly high at an online store, but not A Song for XX.

Yes.
Because not everyone cares for the latest releases. Albums that came out in the 60's or earlier are still available, brand new, should you want them.

I think there's actually a second printing of it though... Or am I mistaken and does every copy have the "new" avex logo (the one that's kinda a warped blob as opposed to just an oval)?

It's by no means out of print though. alot of older cd's aren't.

And I have a question, was the original release postponed? Cuz the CM says it's coming out December 26th '98 but everything else (including the CD back itself) says January 1st 1999.

i just bought the ASFXX OS version cd and it still have the old avex logo on it.

and delerium, the release date of ASFXX is 1/1/99 officially, but it was already in the shops from 26/12/98. this is confirmed by ayu in an interview i read somewhere...it is that really long japanese late night radio interview that someone translated and then posted the link here about 2 months ago

I guess those CD shops had the CD that early, and avex told them to hold it another week but most shops that had it broke street date anyway. *shrug* weird.

And does anyone have a JAPAN version with the old avex logo? I'm still foggy on that since it's hard to tell with an OS version and a Japan version to go on.
