Shiina Ringo. Hands down. Along with the band of course.

And Kuchan. Because her recent lives has been blowing me away out of the window.

Shiina Ringo is by far the best live performer on the list, she's just so amazing.

Otsuka Ai is also excellent to watch live, especially if she's on piano <3

YUI's a great live performer but she just needs to play some more upbeat stuff live.

(i didn't vote for Ayu since everyone here knows she's superb live)

Ayumi ofcourse - her voice is just perfect
Yui - she has a strong voice
Ai Otsuka - I really liked her "Cherish" performances - so good!! I'm suprised not to see Angela Aki on the list she has a great voice for singing live

Ayu - Lovely stage sets, Voice is always top shape and the costumes can be very amuzing at times.

Hitomi Shimatani - Her voice is perfect. I fell in love with her when she Performed Destiny ~Taiyou no Hana~ on Utaban. The violins are superb.

Nana Kitade - Her voice never disappoints. She wears some extremely gorgeous clothes. And when I watch her live I just want to get up and sing along.

Ayumi Hamasaki - So many lives, but they're all so great (Especially 1 LOVE live)
Koda Kumi - Her performances are always great! She always wears the best clothes, and you can tell she really wants to be there and sing, not like some other artists
hitomi - After watching her A-Nation Performance, I could feel her energy and her singing was absolutely fantastic

Hikaru Utada - judging by her UU06 clips in youtube, i loved how she performed her songs. the seetings, and the way the crowd interacts with her, is great.

hitomi - i love her lives. she's so funny and rnergetic, and i love seeing her perform. i like her voice too.

Koda Kumi - the way her performances are... i absolutely love watching them. the dancing, the singing, the crowds screaming and having fun, i just love to watch that from kumi. the best part to me is her dancing though, lol.

YUI - she's new, and i've seen performances from her. the crowd seems to enjoy it, and when YUI sings she takes it serious, so her singing is great when performing.

those are my choices from the list. "other" for me would have to be Yuna Ito. she sings beautiful on stage, but she needs to be a bit more comfortable with crowds and all.

Just throwing out my 2 cents. No need to get offended. Besides, one man's trash is another one's treasure, right?

I'm not getting offended, everyone's entitled to opinions and it doesn't bother me. I just didn't actually see a reason for it

ayu has great stage set but the concert setlist always bores me...independant+trauma+flower garden ?? why she always need to do that?

i pick koda kumi and namie amuro, i always respect those performers that can dance and sing at the same time. I didn't vote for BoA cuz i havn't seen that yet from her in the past but hope she can impress me in her new arena tour ^_^

You don't enjoy her concerts?

-------------------------------------

There's a few artists that I haven't seen in this list, but here are my favorites:

1. Ayumi Hamasaki : Great vocals, great outfits, very entertaining and emotional.
2. hitomi : Lots of energy, very cheerful and different from others!
3. Ai Otsuka : Like hitomi, tons of energy and very impressive. Plus piano!
4. BoA : Coolest dance moves. Always makes me want to dance! Vocals, amazing.

I also like Namie but she's sometime boring. She's not as cool and edgy as BoA! Kuu can be great too, but she oversings... all the time. x____x

You should really go to the concert, and then you will understand why those songs are in the setlists most of the time..

IMO, to truly appreciate her concerts, you need to go to one. Lots of people complain about how she always does the same songs, but it's because the songs work. Ask anyone who's been to one

for ur info, ppl outside Japan will possibly can never go to her concert in their entire life...so there's no way i can understand it. My last ayumi's concert release i bought is CDL04-05 and i'm not impressed. I will buy her new concert release when she replaced remove all her over-rated songs and throw in something else different. ^_^

Look at namie, she threw her all time classics e.g CAN YOU CELEBRATE, NEVER END, Don't wanna cry in her LIVE STYLE 2006 and put in underrated b-sides and album tracks.

ayu did independant+trauma+flower garden since her 2002 arena tour and she did that in ALL her concerts for the past 4 years...that's boring >_<

Well....if people only say I like this and I love that, there won't be any discussion right? Just a shoutbox for everyone to declare their love. While with bad opinions, people can discuss it why and furthermore about that.

Gee. I forgot about Namie. XD
Yeah, I second your comments about being able to dance and sing at the same time.

I saw some BoA lives and I'd to say that she's not bad. I heard she lipsynched but I don't know for sure. I'm not even care about whether she lipsynch or not when she got a pack of awesome choreography during the live. MOTO <3

Nah. MY STORY AT05 was amazing. But I fall asleep during A MUSEUM for some reason and that incident scarred me.
I might have yet to try AT06 hoping it's as good as AT05. But maybe later when I got a good cheap bootleg for it.

Ayu.She is actually singing.
hitomi for her best of trying, she really enjoyed performing
Amuro, for the dance and her love of dancing

Definitely not Kuu, her voice sounds fake and she only show her body and those R-rated dancing on stage. She's better at selling CD not at performace
