Simply because of its great blend of tracks. The types of tracks flow into each other; I have an easy time listening to it. The tracks are also really great~ It's just one of my favourite albums because it's one I can really get into.

I dont think its her best album. The songs, although good, sound weird next to each other. And the album feels lethargic to me. If it was a living creature, it would have been a really really colourful and vibrant... tumbleweed.

Hahahahahhahaha that was funny. =P

I have a bias towards the "I Am..." album..only because it was the first album I bought of Ayu's

Plus most of the songs on there are my favorite =)

Yes I like her new variety and style. She makes every genre sound interesting in her new songs. Her album is also better composed of many genres than a single one.

i am... has the best songs on it, both powerful and ballads (plus, no more words is the best thing i've ever heard.) I donm't like the stuff she's doing now as much as I am...

I wonder, why she's composing so little now, in I am... she composed almost the whole album and it was perfect. what happened?

She also composed almost the entire RAINBOW album and everyone hated it.

I like I am... because I think it has many of her best songs. I also think that although it has a lot of different, outstanding songs on it, it doesen't ruin the general "feel" of the album, making it sound like an album more than a "song collection" (which was one of (miss) undetstood's problems IMO).

The instrumentation is really special. Many of the songs have a rockier edge to them without loosing their pop-appeal (evolution f.ex). This might explain some of universal appeal this album has. The albums she made before I am were mostly pop/dance, the albums that came after have more and more purer rock songs.

By 'everyone' I meant the AHS initiates Seems that many people here dislike RAINBOW.

According to the poll here, the majority of forum users like that album. IMO it is her most underrated album.

I am not a big fan of I am..., though the album contains some really great single songs, but some album tracks are just too... PLAIN for me, the arrangement of some songs is really bad, especially those done by CMJK

First of all the songs - most of the classic songs which make Ayu herself are in it - Dearest, I Am..., M, evolution, Endless Sorrow. It's tough speaking about her career without mentioning these songs in my opinion. Also the concept itself of the album is simply fantastic - the concept of freedom, peace and expression of self. Absolutely beautiful. I can't find a single defect in that wonderful album that I'm such a huge fan of.

I remember now, that "I am..." was also the album when her voice changed a lot.
I was really impressed by how she improved her vocals, when I was listening to the title song.
also "I am..." was released in a very crucial time of my life, so I can relate to this album a lot, not that this has anything to do with the quality of the album, but I dont think any other album would have met my mood in that time better

I got sort of bored of this album. I prefer 'RAINBOW' and 'Memorial address' over it. I loved it when I first got it, but it seems to be lacking variety. The two most overrated songs on it are 'Dearest' and 'evolution', I always skip them. .-.

Favorite songs: Naturally, still alone, No more words and Endless Sorrow ~gone with the wind ver.~.
