We should be happy..
I've noticed often, there are alot of people who seem upset with this or that Ayu has done..
So I was watching J-popsuki winamp tv.. and after far too many Mini Moni and Morning Musume videos for my sanity (Mini moni scares me...)

I've come to the conclusion.. we should all be happy Ayu doesn't do songs like either of those two bands.. or videos like them..

lol not meant to be mean.. they're both cute bands.. but sometimes people are saying.. well Mini moni's songs are kinda cute.. but the vids make me wonder who was doing what sort of drug.. (lol).. my boyfriend and I just sit there like O.O;;; '...what did we just watch?' .. and my boyfriend thinks it's completely insane that morning musume is so large.. hehe, I find their vids a little plain though.. mainly just alot of dancing.. .. of any artist i've ever listened to (Japanese or no) .. Ayumi and Gackt have the best videos ever

Yay for Ayumi and Gackt!

I absolutely agree with you. We all should be happy. Ayu makes my life better/happier even if I don't like something she's doing. I'm so happy I know her and I can enjoy her music and stuff and I respect her.

Ayu has the nicest PVs I have seen. They're perfect. And I don't say this often.

No offense to any MiniMoni or Morning Musume fans out there, but I really don't understand why they're so popular/hyped up.....

But then again, can you really compare those two bands with Ayu? o_O They seem like they belong in different genres...

well, ayu is one of the only artists to actually go out of japan to shoot at least one PV a year... you have INSPIRE and fairyland... and the PV really brings out the meaning of the song too.

But I like Morning Musume. I find their PVs to be enjoyable. but mini moni makes me wonder too. lol.

We should appreciate more that she has enough control over her music and her career!!

People keep complaining about Ayu's style with Bold & Delicious (which I love!) but if it weren't for that style, we would've have got alterna either

Most artist are limited to lyric writing sometimes...

Mostly I am content that Ayu's work is usually of good standard, but sometimes it's not. At times I expect something good, but then she comes out with things like STEP you or B&D - so at times there isn't a reason to be happy with everything. I was watching an interview with Terry Pratchett the other night and he said that having fans was like having a lot of critics - which is true of anyone who has fans. I think that while you can appreciate someone's work overall, and be satisfied with it, that you don't have to like everything - and it's okay to express that. Otherwise you'd get a place that I used to post at, where everyone's a 'yes' person and you can't even give constructive criticism on the artist's work - it gets pretty dull reading the same opinions all the time.

Ayu's got the PVs that use up $1 million USD...
I don't think many other artist, if any, use that much money for one pv..
