ayumi and hitomi: close friends? [fake article]

I was reading hitomi's biography at wikipedia.org and found this:

Avex stock prices dropped hugely when it was rumored that hitomi, along with Ayumi Hamasaki (a close friend of hitomi's), Hiro, Do As Infinity, and Every Little Thing were going to leave Avex if Masato 'Max' Matsuura, was forced out. Matsuura was at that time feuding bitterly with a rival executive, Tomoyuki Yoda, over the company's direction. Yoda adventually stepped down and Matsuura stayed.

Is it true?

If so, that's so cool. My 2 favorite artists! LOL.

They have so many things in common. They're beautiful, they make good music, they both work for avex, they're beautiful...

Wouldn't be surprised. They have probably been co-workers for years... hitomi longer than Ayu so they probably know each other for about 7 years.

wikipedia entries are written & edited by end users (which means just regular ol' people like you & me).

I wouldn't be surprised to find that hitomi & ayu are friends. Their careers do have alot of parallels, i'm sure they give each other advice all the time.

Wow, I like them both... Ayu is sexy as well as Hitomi. It's great to know there are still some artists that are really good friends!=)

Mmm ... Ayu and Kaori Mochida are definitely good friends! I think that she's good friends with hitomi as well. I mean, they will meet indefinitely at Avex. Yup, but I don't think hitomi has appeared on Ayu Ready before? Mmm ... so there's no verification to that. But I think they have to be acquaintances.

It's irritating that we don't know which other celebrities are friends with each other because sometimes, it just seems so ... commercial?

yeah i tihnk kaori mochida and ayu are friends she also friends with kyoko fukada, u could tell from Ayuready, but Ayu has nver invited Hitomo on Ayuready

Pretty much. ANy schmo can write biographies like that. We'll never know where they got their information from .... it would be really nice if they were, though!

Actually... Wikipedia states that anyone who writes an article at least SHOULD give external links, so it's likely you'll find the site they got the info from if they posted external links. Which they often do.

wasn't hitomi on her maternity leave and taking a break from publicity when AyuReady was airing ? maybe that's the reason why she never appeared on that show ?

Yeah, hitomi was on maternity leave.

But I do find that a lot of wikipedia info is accurate (though not all the time).
