Ayumi Concerts

I was watching some of Ayumi's concerts on the DVD and i noticed that Ayumi lip syncs a lot, even on songs she shouldn't even lip sync. So i was wondering, why would people spend money to wath ayumi lip sync when she should sing it, she is a singer after all. So what do you guys think.

I believe that on some concerts there was recording errors or the performances were just plain terrible so they had to lip synch her to different version of the original song or sommat like that

But even on the Live version shown on Tv, She was caught lip syncing.

Which performances has she lyp-synched? I thought there were only a few...

Yerr i heard about that but people must remember that there is still a slight lag on live tv, so if so many people were watching there could be a delay? meeh

If anyone watched the CDL 05 06 when she sang Theme of A Nation '03, she lip synced, and you can clearly tell she lip synched cuz they had the cameras right in front of her face when she lip synched. Her mouth was clearly not with the music. Even some of the members here noticed it too.

yeah...but there just a little part and its not prove anything about lypsynch in her other concert
ask the people that go to her concert live...i believe that they will say that she not lypsynch

I think it is okay, bcoz Ayu often become very tired, and her voice become weird, so to avoid it, she did that.
But I like when Ayu sings songs, even when her voice is weird.
(Sorry if my english language is bad, hehe)

yeah, everyone knows that she lip synchs sometimes, but i think that whether or not shes lip synching or really singing, many people probably just go to see her, and I mean, she is lip synching to her own voice...but im sure everyone would prefer if she really sang live,

but you probably can't tell when you're actually there watching, unless she pulled an Ashlee Simpson...

Could you please tell me which ones? I'm not saying that she has never lip synced, but I'm still waiting for someone to show me when and where.

The audio on the concert DVDs is changed. We know this because they are different than the live broadcasts. This has been pointed out at AHS several times already.

Most people know that avex sometimes redoes her voice on her DVDs. The theme of a-nation '03 at the CDL 05-06 is like the only one I know about. I am not saying she doesn't lip sync, she most likely has at some point. People usually can tell the difference when she sings live anyways. You say she does it a lot, please say which performances? I do not know of any others...

The Theme of A nation at CDL 05 06 on the live version. also on M on CDL 04 05. I have the Tv Version and The DVD version and she is clearly lip syncing to a previous version. The Version was sang at the Asia Song festival in Korea. Its the same exact song she used to lip sync for that too. ALso she lip synched on that performance too with boys and girls. she doesn't have any sound differences even though she is dancing like crazy. people usually sound like they have no breath after doing soo much movements. but she doesn't sound tired at all.
Well i understand some time she is tired but i mean wouldn't it be better to listen to something thats no lip synched. i know many people go to watch her do stuff like concerts. ya she doesn't lip sync all the time but im just saying why would she lip sync when she already has a good voice?

I knew about the Asia Song Festival. But I know someone who says that she sounded completely different at CDL 04-05 in concert than the DVD. It doesn't really bother me, she sings most of her stuff live. She has been going for like 7-8 years, her voice probably gets stressed out, yes? She is really busy.

I never knew she had lip synced before. If she does, well I guess it's understandable. As long as we enjoy the concert. Plus for some reason maybe she has to do so for example her voice is really bad. At least most of the time she sings live and that is the point.

I don´t mind if Ayu lip-synyc some songs and I belive she does, but I don´t think she does it very often. The best proof are her performances of Memorial adress @ Arena Tour 2003~2004 and Trauma @ CDL 04-05, where she forgets her lyrics.

But some people can dance and sing at the same time. I admit, Ayu was clearly lipsyncing during Theme of A-nation, but I'm not sure if she was during Boys and Girls. During her performance at MTV Super Dry she sang Greatful Days and Unite!, and she was dancing a lot, but it didn't seem to affect her voice. Also, she danced a lot during CDL 02-03 (Real me, all the songs with TRF), but there's no way she was lipsynching. Her voice was really off key during the concert because she had a cold, but she didn't seem out of breath because of the dancing. And surely, if she would lipsync because she wanted to dance, she wouldn't lipsync to a recording in which her voice is off key.
