Reason for SECRET became a FULL ALBUM

It was quite a mystery and secret, why this SECRET album changed from a mini one to a full length album, according to some news from TAIWAN, it stated in late october to december there will be immense new albums coming up, such as NAMI TAMAKI's BEST ALBUM, CHEMISTRY, W-INDS, EXILE and some strong competitors like KODA and MIKA insp' NANA (THE END new album).
In the light of this, since avex wants ayu to stay on the top spot for the best-selling album in 2006-2007 once again and therefore, they changed their mind by converting the mini album to a full one ensuring she will be the QUEEN of the best-selling album this year.

濱崎步大戰人氣群星應該是這波發行中最精采的橋段,29日發行的八組歌手個個有來頭,共計有台日混血歌姬一 青窈、w-inds.主唱橘慶太個人首張專輯、早安甜心松浦亞彌、日式R&B創作男森山直太朗、因機動戰士鋼彈走紅的 玉置成實,還有團員DJ FUMIYA大病初癒後歸隊的RIP SLYME屎爛幫,這樣的片單真的是張張都恐怖,尤其是一青窈的個人首張精選「BESTYO」以及RIP SLYME全新專輯最有力,也可能是因為對手太具威脅,所以讓原本要發迷你專輯的濱崎步,在10月底突然宣佈改發完整專輯,為的八成是要確保冠軍寶座 。/

進入12月,6日首先登場的是號稱近兩年日本樂壇新霸主的「ORANGE RANGE橘子新樂園」和熟男創作王子福山雅治的對決,原本傳聞要發行精選輯的橘子,可能在唱片公司考量後 醞釀時間不夠而作罷原創專輯,在這張同名專輯 DVD收錄曲的安排上還是看的出精選的雛型,而五年沒發新專輯的福山雅治,這次可是來勢洶洶,讓原本應該奪 冠沒問題的橘子現在可是第一不保,同天十年再復出的「My Little Lover」也發新專輯附精選。

樂壇新人類單挑創作男子,13日則是中島美嘉化聲「NANA」對決近畿小子。化聲NANA的中島美嘉趁電影 版第二集上檔,除了再唱主題曲之外,唱片公司耍狠招最後推出完整專輯要好好吸一筆,但每年年底必發專輯的近 畿小子在左閃右躲後,最後決定在13日發行「I album-iD-」,對上比較有勝算的中島美嘉,也順便為明年出道十週年做暖身。同天還有韓國情歌王子K和早安少女組的新專 輯,彩虹則是插花以CD+ DVD的方式重發百萬名盤「ark」&「ray」,超人氣漫畫「死神BLEACH」與「名偵探柯南」也選在 同天發主題曲精選。

I wonder why Avex allows KODA to release her new album BLACK CHERRY so close to Ayu 's SECRET album?~ Are there not confident at Ayu's sellings or they want KODA to replace AYU in some later stages? BEcause I think KODA is more a menace to AYU than the other ccompetitors. As u may know, she is releasing so many singles in this year and many people are getting attentions from her already(INCLUDING HK AND TAIWAN)........~ Will KODA be the next QUEEN of best-selling singles & album in the future after AYU's prestige and reputation decrease??~

anyway, I don't think she has that big chances to have the best selling albom among all these... she will be like 3rd or even 4th with her album, as it's not a best album and many other mentioned actually are [thus always sell bits better than 'regular' releases, and I believe that bit will be enough to surpass Secret sales].

from my perspective the japanese audience were tired of Ayu most of them anyway and begged for somthing new and not always relying on ayumi for music ayu has stopped reinventing herself as koda is always trying new things. Ayu wants to get married and have a family now cant blame her

Although koda kumi gains sale in this year, I don't think she can replace Ayu.
Up to now, I don't see anyone who can achieve the status of Ayu. In Japan, there are many singers and bands got great selling too. But they're not as important as Ayu. I think Ayu still plays an important position in Japan and hearts of people.

If Ayu is not important, why Avex would change the mini-album to a full album. Also, they let Ayu to release the album about 1 month earlier than koda kumi's BLACK CHERRY. Also, Ayu will continue to have her CDL this year. How many Avex singers can have their CDL every year? So don't worry about that. Ayu is still the QUEEN of Avex and QUEEN of Best-selling.

Don't you remember, Ayu recently attended the programme of CNN, and that programme will be boardcast in over 200 countries. This provides Ayu's status cannot be replace by anyone.

Yeah!
Sales doesn't reflect everything.
Just like some international singer, they usually release their albums in 1-2 years. But they are still so popular in the world.

Why does everyone have to think up random reasons for everything, or draw conclusions with no base what so ever? Can't it just be that she changed it for a full album, because she did?

And if she didn't, what does it matter? It doesn't change the material.

Doesn't matter if it's made up or not. She's releasing an album, doing so is all about earning money. We happen to often like what she releases, therefore we buy it. When we do so we give her the ability to keep on going to make new music that we like, all in order to earn money and have fun.
