Hanabi ~episode II~ vs. Hanabi

Okay, I noticed that alot of ppl here criticize H~II~ and say its really bad and stuff. But... compared to the first, i think its way better.
The first one was really bland and almost doesnt change.
I was thinking "Well, at least H~II~ has a frickin climax". And its true.

Hm, well I always loved both songs equally. For me, they both offer different moods. "Hanabi" is just sweet and sorrowful, while the second song is epic like "HEAVEN" or maybe even more dramatic than that.

Thats very true... but, I hate that ppl put H~II~ down when it is good.
You can even hear the emotion in hear voice

I like "HANABI", but I LOVE "HANABI ~episode II~". Ever since it was released on "&" back in 2003. It's probably even one of my favourites by ayu. ^^

Exactly! Like my favorite part "kono omoi yo~~~!" at the very end...I get shivers everytime.

i love hanabi ~episode II~ a LOT more than hanabi. i think its amazing, and has a lot more emotion in it. everytime i hear it i think of rainy summer days...its amazing! dont get me wrong i like hanabi too, but its not as good as ~episode II~

I never really noticed that people here put Hanabi ep. 2 down....I think that many people like HANABI better, but it's still a good song, and a favorite among ayu fans.

I think a lot more people put down the PY than the actual song because of her fake crying, whatever, but yeah.

And cuz of the pv too. It was like, once we were talking about memorial adress and someone was liek "Ooh, h~II~ sucks, so does angels song and greatful days" and the others was liek "yesh! the pv sucks too".
At least now I know it is'nt hated

I LOVE HANABI~episode II~. It's special because she rarely does summer themed ballads, and the song itself is just pretty amazing. It's CREA+D.A.I composed for god's sake xD.

I like Hanabi better. I don't like those weird people in the background for episode II. I love the live versions of Hanabi better though. Much better singing in it.

They bother me too.
When I first heard HAL'S MIX 2003 and didn't hear the backup vocals for the first chorus, I became all excited! Then I heard them later in the song and was like, "Crap."

i like both songs, but i think the titile of hanabi episode II could have been changed to a completely different title. having a part II of a song is not cool.

I like both songs, but definitely prefer HANABI as more of a classic...but Hanabi II isn't bad either

I initially liked hanabi II a lot more than hanabi, since it caught my attention with the great PV and the dramatic emotional and grander atmosphere. hanabi bored me before. But eventually, my love for hanabi grew a lot, with hanabi 2 being ignored more and more as i grew tired of it. Today, however, my love for both songs are equal after seeing the a-nation performances for both songs just recently... both very good songs, with one being a more silent solemn, while the other, a screaming, angry type. i guess the pv/cm clips led me to these hehehe.
i actually prefer the hal remix of hanabi 2 over the original though... gives it a more exotic, orchestraic feel, plus it reduces the "yeah yeah whoah whoah" which made part 2 a bit tiring.

I have always assumed it is the opposite, Hanabi EpII is always mentioned amongst peoples favorite Ayu tracks where the original one is somewhat of a rarity! Personally I think the original is the best

I prefer Hanabi over the Episode 2, again, because the weird people singing in the background of episode 2.

I looove both of them, but I find myself liking HANABI a little more. It just sounds so sweet and innocent, and so much simpler than HANABI ~episode II~
