yo peeps!! its me... jus finished watching ayu's concert ytd!!! i jus soo so so so wanna share my experience with u guys at the ASIA TOUR!!!!! ok here it goes..

at around 3 pm, my dad and i proceeded to the HK Coliseum and saw a long queue. we quickly got into the queue and were informed that its not guaranteed that we will be able to purchase merchandise... (but we did!!! i bought 2 tour pamphlets, 3 wrist bands, 2 straps and a muffler towel!)

and guess who i saw, i saw zin and shuya smoking beside the toilet before the concert... wahahah!! about the review, here it goes!!

LABYRINTH - a red moon was shone onto the red curtains on the stage. den the red curtain slowly rose up with the dancers wearing old style european costumes.. quite grand.

evolution - ayu descended to the stage on a swing. she sang evolution till the end of the 1st chorus in some acoustic version. after that the loud music came in. ayu descended further to the ground. she shouted "IT'S SHOWTIME!!" and started singing!! that was high!!! ayu was in this black corseted outfit with a small little party hat on her head.

UNITE! - as usual. nothing much. interacted with the audience..

taskinst - showing ayu + dancers in a dark and eerie environment. i duno what the people are doing. but the female dancers are begging the male dancers not to leave or something but somehow the male dancers died tragically. shuya who was paired with ayu was very nervous as he knew he was going to die soon.

1 LOVE - same set up as NEVER EVER (Best of CDL 0607). ayu wore some black feathery thing on her head.. but after the 1st chorus she removed it revealing her long golden hair!! there were fireworks in this song. that was explosive.after the explosion, the metal bars on the cage suddenly disappeared!!! ayu and her female dancers came out of the cages and started dancing wildly with the chairs!!! the song ended with ayu pole dancing on stage. she was damn HOT!!!!!!

until that Day... - quite the same antics as BEST of CDL 0607 except ayu came up to the centre circular stage and did some really sexy moves with the male dancers (especially shuya) who were wearing leather belts like GAME AT 2005. fireworks were also used!!

after that, miyazaki yusuke had some really good piano solo. which led into M.

M - female dancers were dressed like ballerinas. ayu wearing green dress. the song ended on the circular centre stage..

appears - male dancers with european costumes appeared again. each pair of dancers (ayu was with shuya) danced. quite surprised that they managed to include real good percussion + dance in this song. fire was used in this song. i can feel the heat from where i was sitting!!!!! after the song ended, the male dancers appeared in spanish costumes with flags. they danced and performed some acts with their flags. perfecto!

<clip> similar to part of Me PV. ayu in the huge kimono and shuya was the main character in this clip.

part of Me - ayu wearing a gigantic purple kimono stood in the main stage but is elevated. the whole thing was like (Moments AT 2005). the dancers with the white fans, the elevated stage, the visual effects. very nice!!! shuya was facing ayu and their hands stretched towards each other. but at the end of the song, shuya suddenly descended into the stage.. they couldn't touch each other(if u understand wat i am trying to say haha)

Secret - ayu proceeded to somewhere towards the front of the stage and sang. towards the last part, ayu moved to the centre of the main stage and several long red cloth were released from the ceiling. very beautiful!!

midoring, chisa, gomi and hide appeared and performed with hula hoops. it was very elegant.. i must say.

kiss o' kill - Miyazaki Yusuke solo again. i duno its what instrument. sounds like pipe organ. (i am not sure). the tune he played resembled those vampire style music in Phantom of the Opera. after that, ayu appeared on the circular stage and screamed for a while together with the song. the song then started. the dancers wore black costumes like (HAPPY ENDING AT 2005). you cant see their faces. they were wearing masks. after the 2nd chorus, the dancers helped ayu wore the black cloak and a black eye mask. the dancers were surrounding ayu, with ayu struggling to escape. they carried her like how they did for (opening run AT 2002).. then ayu descended into the stage. and jus as you were wondering why ayu went down the stage before the song ended, ayu appeared on a cross up high in the air above the main stage. i was shocked!! which means the ayu in the black cloak wasnt ayu... after that, the cross with ayu descended as the song ends.

Not Yet - in the initial part of this video, it showed trees with growing roots. then ayu appeared in a costime like (GAME AT 2005) but without the feathers. the video was very interesting. colourful kaleidoscopic image with green laser beams shooting everywhere!!

SURREAL - ayu appeared in that costume in the clip for Not Yet. and sang SURREAL on the circular stage with princess yoko, peco, enrique and yo chan!! the stage rose as if CAROLS 2005, but higher. the staged rotated 2 rounds and i kept on waving to ayu. i went nuts then.

AUDIENCE - after ayu sang SURREAL she was lowered down the stage to put on the feathers stuff on her back and head. her dancers came out with feathery costumes too. even the male dancers were very feathery. ayu forgot her lyrics at the 2nd verse. finally caught her forgetting lyrics!! she was so cute!!!!!

Boys & Girls - when the song started, 2 large strutures of a heart was pulled into the stage. from the centre of the audience seat and looking at the stage, its like a small heart, in a big heart, in a bigger heart. like a tunnel shaped of a heart. they have lights on it too. very grand even without water jets. again, the audience was asked to sing part of the song. but from ayu's face she didnt really like the volume cos i think we didnt noe much japanese. but she was happy anyway. i think this was the first time she didnt screw up this song since concerts ago?? haha. at the end of the song, she did the Lala, lala, lala thingy as the red curtains were lowered. after that, the red curtains were raised and ayu did the lala, lala, lala thingy once again before the main concert really ended.

ENCORE - the clip with the A symbol dancng was so cute!! it showed the A symbol holding a sign saying "香港你好！“ which means Hello Hong Kong! there was also another one saying "祝你交好运“ which means "wish you good luck". the A symbol also turned into Bruce Lee trying to play with instrument with 2 rods chained together. i duno the english term for it. and also the A symbol turned into a waitress with trays of dim sums on her hand. the entire wait was about 15 minutes before she started singing Memorial address.

Memorial address - emotional as usual. the normal performance.

SEASONS - ayu's voice was superb seriously. she didnt strain her voice singing this song. the audience did the La-la-i thing with her and i think that satisfied her.

MC - "Hello Hong Kong! HELLO HONG KONG! HELLO HONG KONG!!!! I am so so happy! I am very nervous before this show you know. oh my god. Do you like the show? .... let's welcome the host for today's show ok? yes he is yo-chan!"

i can only remember ayu saying this. after that she said "大家好。我是滨崎步“ in cantonese. she sorta forgot how to say it. after that she had a conversation with Yo-chan and he gave us the cue to sing poker face as the next day (today) is ayu's 9th anniversary! we sang the chorus of poker face and the dancers pushed a gigantic birthday cake out. it was so special because i didnt expect it to happen let alone be part of it. so do ayu. after that, they moved the cake to the circular centre stage and all the band members + dancers surrounded it and took a pic of it with the audience. she was thrilled!!!!!

flower garden - the same performance as usual. nothing special.

Humming 7/4 - same also. i went crazy doing the "Everybody GO! Everybody JUMP!" action.

Who... - she didnt cry.. i was expecting her to cry for HK.. she introduced the band members and after that, thats when she nodded to me who was waving at her. my legs literally went soft seriously. i was so happy!!!!!!!!!!! after that, she sang the last part of Who... in chinese jus like how she did in Taiwan.

after that, she put her finger on her lips and shouted ARIGATOU GOZAIMASHITA!! and the entire show ended.

i must say it was once in a life time experience and i enjoyed it so much!!! i hope i can upload the pics soon..

and these are what i bought.. the pink slip is a notice telling us about singing poker face as a surprise for ayu. beside it is the ticket. below it is the ribbon that was shot into the air towards the end of the concert.. i grabbed at least 5 of them! it has ayu's signature on it!

wow~ sounds soo awesome!! and so many things with shuya, i'm getting sick of that xD

I do wonder why she uses shuya for most of the stuff.

Well, the chairs thing and the pole dancing still really bothers me (I could do without it) and the "never ever" cage thing is starting to get a little old (she has done it like 5 or 6 times) but over all it seemed like a great performance. I would love to see her live.

Probably because Shuya is the "pretty boy" of the bunch. Of course the prettiest gets highlighted..

and the chair thing and pole dancing... well what can I say.. I like it when Ayu's a bit sexy.

For the Game performance she only had the cage thing at the beginning, it was on youtube.com but it is gone now with almost all clips of her. I think it might be on the DVD, I am not sure.

It was the first time I ever saw the cage and the chair smashing thing, it is one of the coolest things ayu has done.

I like the tour this year but it is not her best, it doesn't seem really original. It isn't very colorful or vibrant ether. I love lots of colors and all you see is black,white,gray,beige,brown. I do love the lite green dress and the pink kimono.

Thats why I love Arena tour 05 the best, completely original. I guess she is doing the reuse of stuff because of a best 2. I hope after this tour all her performances will not be reused or copied. I do also want a tour that is less focused on outfits,dancing,sets and props.

I probable would feel different about what she does now and this tour if I got a change to actual she one of her concerts or till we get the DVD.

did you go see the concert or something? This tour looks very colorful already...the light up stage and the dancers costumes...(boys & girls, evolution) and also the songs are mainly rock or dark so I like how her costumes are dark in color for those performances. You never know...this tour might turn out to be one of the best. I cant wait to see kiss o' kill performance!
