misono - three new singles



Former day after tomorrow vocalist now soloist misono will be releasing three new singles in 2007. The first will be released on September 12 and will be produced by Straightener bassist Hinata Hidekazu. Nothing is known about the remaining two singles but fans have speculated a single will be released either each month, each week or all on the same day.

day after tomorrow disbanded in the third quarter of 2005 and misono has since had moderate success with her solo career by releasing six singles and one full length album. Her most recent single Pochi, which was released in mid-May, was her worst selling thus far.

if she wants good sales in the first place, she needs GOOD MUSIC, sorry misono but the only good songs were VS and kojin jugyo, which are also the only CD's of yours i will have if you dont step up your game.

Seems like Kumi's 12 single project was a test since they're trying it on other singles at a much smaller level.

Didn't someone do something similar. 5 singles released on the same day because she'd been releasing for 5 years. I don't know who it was, wether it was before Kumi's 12 singles and if the artist is avex though.
If she spreads them out up to the end of December, then it's quite similar to a few recent artists (AAA have had 4 singles since March with a 5th on Wednesday, sifow has released 3 singles this year 2 months apart with an album coming out half a month after the third single).
If misono is smart she'll space them out. Otherwise people will see through the gimmick. 3 singles in 4 months is a bit less shocking.
