J-pop Reactions at Staples.
So since i've been playing ayu videos at work I decided to play some other artists behind the counter on our big screen for customer viewing.
Koda Kumi - BUT PV A lot of people thought she was Brenda Song from "The suite life of Zac and Cody" which was suprising because Koda looks nothing like her. A woman with her two kids said it was bad for kids to see this kinda video. Koda Kumi - Under PV A co-worker thought she was really ****ty for her dancing. Namie Amuro - NEW LOOK PV Some lady came in and thought she was 12 years old and when I told her that she was in her 30's she didn't believe me. Her boyfriend said he thought it was Austin Powers at first. Namie Amuro - Hide & Seek LIVE Two customers were arguing over who she was. One said "Oh it's Janet Jackson" and the other thought she was Tila Tiquela. One was laughing at the lyrics for "Bang bang bang your head". Namie Amuro - FUNKYTOWN PV There was a manager in our store from another store and was like "What exactly am I watching?" I told her it was a music video. It's funny how when it's a different language people don't understand what a music video is lol. Namie Amuro - NEW LOOK LIVE A girl was like "HEY japanese music! how did you get it to play here" and I told her. lol Ami Suzuki - ONE PV Little kids seem to love this video they always stare. Leah Dizon - Love Paradox PV A male co-worker commented on how hot she is. Crystal Kay - ONE LIVE An older couple thought we were playing japanese idol or something and kept saying she was african.
