The Official Michael Jackson Thread *NEW Album!*

I thought I would be the most fit to start this thread, lolz.

So his apparently got a new album coming out later this year... so who thinks it'll have the parental advisory sticker just cause it's by Jackson?

Look at what wiki has to say about the album: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael...27s_2007_album

Quck Snippet:
Quote:
Michael Jackson is currently working on a new studio album. The new album has been in production since May of 2006. The album is being recorded in Dublin, Ireland and Las Vegas by Jackson and co-producers will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas, Rodney Jerkins, Teddy Riley, Ron "Neff-U" Feemster, and many others.

Michael Jackson and will.i.am have recorded at least eight new songs for the album. will.i.am says that this album will be different from anything released in music history and that it is best described as an Off the Wall for today's generation.[1] Some of the work in progress includes up-tempo, dance-floor ready tunes and "great melodies".

It is rumored that Michael Jackson will be working with a variety of artists. Recently, the band OneRepublic (featured on Timbaland's "Apologize" from the Shock Value album) confirmed that they had been contacted by will.i.am to do a collaboration for the album.

Although there has been very little official information from Jackson's camp, Raymone K. Bain, spokeswoman for Jackson, has said that the album will be out late 2007.
oh and just in case you've been living under a rock or another planet your whole life, his the the crazy dude that is the most successful recording artist of ALL time with the highest selling album of all time (Thriller selling 104 million copies WW, according to Wiki) and is often referred to as the King of pop.

Plus his also released more compilations in a row than Koda could ever imagine.

  1. Greatest Hits - HIStory Volume I
  2. Number Ones
  3. Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection
  4. The Essential Michael Jackson
  5. Visionary: The Video Singles

Well i'm actually excited for this album, I think it's gonna sound amazing and it will definitely sell well. I just hope his music vidz are animated or something.

I don't really like him but he is freaking scary. He looks like some ghost I'd banish in fatal frame 3. No matter how retarded he is, he is still the most famous artist ever and I respect that. I'll check out his album later.
Thanks for the news.

No matter what he looks like, some people need to get over his image and listen to his music.
His music is so amazing and refreshing and he has such a perfect voice.

I'm really looking forward to the new album and I hope it sells well.

He's the first example I've seem of someone suiciding themselves without taking their lives away.
His songs are catchy.

'Darkchild' Jerkins is decent with Jackson. "You Rock My World" was excellent, but I wasn't fond of the rest of the 'Invincible' album at all. I was never a big fan of Riley tracks either, save 'Jam'. I don't like that will.i.am character or the Black Eyed Peas, so I'm a little reluctant to hear this new material.

I always thought Jackson himself composed the best tracks. "Stranger In Moscow", "Earth Song", "Who is It?", "Give in to Me".. OMG these songs are so ****ING sick.

I hope the album isn't on the weird hip-hop spectrum. The "...different from anything released in music history" phrase makes me think it's going to be like some "Sexyback" type ****, you know?

And can we stop with the comments about his appearance please? It's a known fact that he's weird looking, it doesn't need to be repeated more than once.

Well, when you're accused of "messing" with little kids, hanging babies off baconies, and getting tons of unneccessay surgerys than it's definitely a sign of some serious help!!!

Anyway, I liked some of his tracks on Invincible but nothing will never top Thriller! I LUV THAT ALBUM TO DEATH! XD I'ma be looking for to this album because Mike always have good albums unlike Janet.

Another thing, I hate when new artist today say that Mike has inspired them to dance or whatever....like Mike was best thang that ever happened to them (ie Chris Brown). I mean, I love Mike as an artist but coming now, THERE are way better artist than them....

this album is gonna be weird...

get over his image...? hm... thatz difficult to do today in the entertainment industry since some artists have no talent other than looking good in a bikini or w/e
but i do think he is an amazing artist! I just wish he wasn't so... *can't find the words*
