50 Cent to quit solo career if Kanye West sells higher than him..?!

The Story:

The 50 Cent Vs. Kanye West battle continues this week as we approach the face off on September 11th when both rappers 3rd major LPs debut.
Kanye West’s "Graduation" has been gaining momentum from three hit singles while 50 Cent seems to be struggling with only one major hit.
Disregarding the lack of buzz from both fans and critics alike, 50 has thrown out some bold words and has put his solo career on the line.

"They would like to see Kanye West give me a problem because I've worked myself into a space where I've become the favorite,"
Fif told SOHH. "Everybody roots against the underdog when he goes against the favorite."
"Put it like this," 50 continued. "Let's raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer write music.
I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out any more solo albums..
"And I bet this, when Kanye West's sales come in, he's gonna have a 70% decrease [the second week] 'cause Def Jam is gonna buy records to keep him closer to 50 Cent..
"So watch the first week and then watch the second week. Watch his **** drop off the planet.
We keep our angles covered before we make a decent bet." Said 50.

50’s "Curtis" and Kanye's "Graduation" are scheduled to hit stores on September 11th, 2007.

My Opinion:

they should both stop their solo careers. ;D
well i guess if one person has to come on top it's gotta be Kanye West..

OMG. Looking at the album releases for September 18, I wish that a similar thing would happen between Chamillionaire, Nelly, Twista & James Blunt (yes, I know he's not a rapper). I wish they'd all say things like "IF I DON'T GET TO #1, I WILL STOP FUNCTIONING." and then KT Tunstall, Eve or Mya takes the top spot. Which means they all will be sent back home to momma/mommy. \o/
