NOTHING FROM NOTHING tribute

Okay,I know you may say that lots of threads like this were made.
But however,(I don't care!)I really want to say something about this song.

What do you really think about it?
Okay,if for the moment you could forget those squeaky stuffs in the song, and try to listen to the lyrics a bit,and Ayu's voice in the chorus, you'll notice how awesome this song is.

For the lyrics,I know Ayu didn't wrote them, but however,if you LISTEN to them, you can see how actually lyrics are VERY true.Let me get it straight.

"Everyone starts to do something from an empty place. I'm alone, but it all depends on my future. Don't be afraid and let's start."

We know Ayu didn't have a great childhood, and when she recorded this,in my opinion, awesome song that is so underrated and ignored that I cannot believe it,she didn't manage to succeed. But later again,Max gave her a chance, and you see where is she now?
She started from nothing and became almost everything, lol.

And this is something Ayu recoded when she was like 15 years old (I may be REALLY wrong)and the whole song is so true...

And about her voice,no matter how much it is nassal,in the chorus it sounds so mature and beautiful.Something even like now...

And her rapping was also awesome! And the music is really good too, when you concentrate on the piano you see how creative this song is!

Whenever I listen to NFN I become very happy, and I don't feel alone and frustrated with my life or anything...

Did you thought this way too about this song?

I find it funny how her voice in NFN sounds much more like it sounds nowadays than around ASFXX/LOVEppears XD

The whole single reminds me of that relaxing music that is often played in the background at fine restaurants... Not a bad thing.

(No offense) but I really don't like the album at all. I have a strong dislike for rap music. The only good thing is that "LIMIT LOVE" sounds like "LOOMIE LAUW", IMO. XD

I really like NFN and that saying something because I really really really hate rap, but it works when Ayu does it, well it isn't like American rap it actually has a meaning (well I just don't like American rap it just loud and noisy to me...). But over all I would have to say my favorite song from NFN is Gut it Pez (anyone have any clue what that means?) followed by NFN. I'm not sure about you guys but I would like to see Ayu do some more rap songs in the future...

When I first heard NFN I was honestly REALLY impressed with it, too. It wasn't cheesy or tacky, nothing like I 'expected' based on the bad status of its debut... it honestly was quite interesting and catchy.

I don't really understand why people call this a rap album, sure there are some aspects of rap to it... but there is more to it than just rap. Maybe its just me?

For me its really refreshing to go back and listen to NOTHING FROM NOTHING and all those songs. Its interesting to hear what she kind of thought she wanted to sound like back then. And its almost like new material sometimes, because its so different from everything she's done for avex.

I love Paper Doll.

I've always loved the songs on Nothing From Nothing very much actually. I thought they always suited Ayu very well and I liked her voice then. The lyrics also fit her in this song, paper doll, and limit I think.

Really only 2 of the songs could be considered rap though - and even those are only like half rap.

Actually, I absolutely LOOOOVE this album!! But it's too bad barely anyone knows it exists. Ayu sounds absolutely amazing, cute and unique when she raps. This album was a perfect way to start her career as a Jpop empress!! =)

Btw: if you don't want to buy the album: download it.
