CONGRATULATIONS, chatmonchy! Seimeiryoku, their 2nd full-length studio album is #2 at the Oricon weekly album chart with a ~*~massive~*~ 70,641 copies sold.

Yeah, and it sold just 19,000 copies. Really small compared to the 70,641 copies that Seimeiryoku sold.

Ooh, I found an Oricon article about the new album. *click* It features another promotional image for Seimeiryoku. I think I'll add that to the first post. I love the current one to death, but we need to stay up to date, what with all the massive success an all.

LOL. I was browsing their blog and the three of them all took a picture near a billboard for Seimeiryoku!

OMG. MY ISP SUCKS. THAT'S WHY THE LAST POST FROM ME IN THIS THREAD WAS FROM OCTOBER.

So, um, I think the fact that Shangrila sold 42k or something, played a big part in the album sales. It had like 2 tie-ins.

lawlz, I'm basically talkin' 2 myself, but chatmonchy's PV collection, "chatmonchy Restaurant Zensai", reached #3 on the music DVD chart with 8,774 copies sold. And for anyone who cares, here's a screencap of the ULTRA CUTE menu.

Kinda old, but I dug up some reports on their gigs [March 31 + April 1] at the one and only BUDOKAN! You can find pictures along with some text & a setlist on some [kinda bummed that they didn't do Sekai ga Owaru Yoru ni]. I have to say that I love the one where they're sitting on the stage taking a picture with the audience.

Congratulations to chatmonchy! Their new single, Kaze Fukeba Koi, has sold ~22k copies in its first week - a first for the band! I think that their SEA BREEZE CM tie-in helped a bit. I found their whole discography's sales in livedoor, so I'mma post those too.
