BEST. PV. EVAR!

Seriously, that black outfit was just WOW, and the whole zen backdrop was just gorgeous. Don't quite get the purpose of the elegant outfit, though.

And whoever said she did the Kamehameha was way off. It was more like the Kaio-ken.

OMG this PV feels SO DIFFERENT! My jaw literally DROPPED when the special effects came on at the last part of the song... the one where I believe is to be the "attack" of Goku - whatever its name is.

Omg and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the camera effects... it's very cool! And the scenes of her in the gown/glove thingy were GORGEOUS. She looks really gorgeous!

And she looks absolutely HOT in her black suit... omg love love love! The symbolism was pretty cool too - taking off your masks (when the dancers have their masks slashed open), light at the end of the tunnel (at the end of the PV), and just wow!

Ayu looks hot and cool in this PV! I really like it! It's sooooooo different from all the PVs that she has made before! I think if people around the world gets to see this before the movie plays in the theater, they'll love her!

My only complaint was... where's the Because of You look-a-like hair???

Oh I forgot to mention in my previous post that the dancing was fierce! When I was watching the preview, I thought talkin' 2 myself's choreography was way better... but oh my Rule is on par, or even better, than talkin' 2 myself!

wow! it certainly exceeded my expectations! VERY fierce! and Ayu danced really well o__o! Wow!

I liked the setting~ it reminded me of edo period and shoguns..
yeah, I was expecting to see the Because of You lookalike hairdo~~
She definitely danced more than she usually does, but I was expecting more aggressive dance moves~

I watched the pv a few times...I still dunno what to think of it.

What I like:
-the opening when they opened the sliding doors to reveal ayu's name and rule in flames. That made me excited!!
-when ayu pointed the thing to her dancers and their masks broke and disappeared. That was cool!
-that dragonball thing ayu and the dancers did near the end that made the other dudes disappeared. Very cool!
-the setting is cool too

What I don't understand:
-what's with the blue bird?
-what's with the jeweled ayu?
-the storyline? were the rest of the dudes traitors or something?

Well I like the pv but if I can understand the pv, I'll like it more.

doesn't ayu remind you of like the head of the yakuza

she looked amazing and the dancing was rather good, i love the dancer's dance, it was awesome!

it was epic, and i liked the small parts of jeweled ayu XD

Ayu is Drop dead gorgeous in the PV!!!! She's so so so so Beautiful and Charismatic. Last time, I thought only Namie, kuu or BoA can do dance PVs so well. But after RULE PV, ayu really proved that she's ahead of everyone!!!!

And her dance moves are superd. I'll take my hats off her man!!!

OMG!!! I LOVE AYU!!!!

Even though Ayu looks amazing, the PV really isn't worth watching a second time. The whole thing was just random and awkward for me.

I agree.

Usually I really like PVs, but this is just a huge meh. All the scenes are basically the same thing with the same scenery. The only good part was the bird. It seems like all of Ayu's PVs lately have been bad (IMO) with max a few artistic shots. Makes you wonder why not the entire PV is artistic.

E.g. Mirrorcle World: the phone cell scene and the birds
GREEN: the birds
Days: oh, wait, this PV is actually really good
Rule: the bird

WAIT.

Why are there birds all the time? X_x New album gonna have something to do with freedom/flight/birds?

I know some ppl gonna complain if I make comparison, but even Kuu's PVs are way better than this.

Just in case anyone was wondering, when the dancers were doing their little solos, I think they were supposed to 'dance' a type of martial arts... and they are...

Shu-ya: Tiger
Maro: Crane
Zin: Eagle
Subaru: Snake
Gomi & Ryoji: Double Dragon

I thought those were pretty sweet.

And an interesting note: Ayu in her gown/gloves... she looks very vulnerable, afraid... very different from the sexy and strong Ayu in the black suit.

edit: and the guys who disappeared at the end, maybe because they followed always the "official" rules like puppets and not the rules of Ayu or their very own rules..? >_> hm...

Yeah I think that's how the bird and the jeweled Ayu were related... She was the vulnerable bird trying to break free.

I absolutely LOVE this PV! I can't stop watching it!

Very good pv!! The only part I didn't like is ayu sitting part of the pv. It seems like the director drag that part to much. What does the blue bird in the pv symbolize?

I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing. I think it's a crappy video with a crappy plot for a song that is pretty good. The wannabe-fierce face is getting old... the black suit is ugly... the dancers are redundant, and the "silver" Ayu was useless. It's like watching Mirrorcle World all over again...

Then again, I never did have high hopes for it XD

Wow, you need to take a happy pill. Anyways, I, unlike you, had high hopes for this pv. The director seemed very promising and Rule is a great song, but it didn't seem to WOW me like Together When... or Days. She looked gorgeous, like always, and the special effects at the beginning lead me on to believe it was going to be amazing.. but then it kind of just dragged on. There wasn't a great plot and the whole thing didn't seem to make a lot of sense... like the GREEN pv. It's still a good pv to watch, I just wanted it to be amazing like the other pv's this director directed.

Well enough of my selfish rant =D Go Ayu!

I liked the Jewelled ayu very much though.

I do find this pv much better than her other past PVs...

Then again, some people would complain again... Surely alot would say that RULE is a stupid pv with a meaningless plot. Just like how they did with Green PV, Days PV, mirrocle world and glitter/fated so on etc... we shall count. hehehe
