Ayu's Para Para Dances

OK, so everyone knows the dances that Ayu does with her arms to some of her songs in live performances? Does anyone know them?

I already know the dance for Trauma, but I don't know any of the others. Can anyone help? I know that there's one for independent and MY ALL, but I've never been able to track down a vid where the camera stays on Ayu long enough for me to learn it. If anyone has a good vid, or can explain how to do it here, that'd be really helpful. I also read on an old thread that there was one for humming 7/4. Is this true?

Any info is great, thanks!

(I hope this is in the right section... I apologize if it isn't)

Parapara is easy, haha.

Back when I did it often, I knew like 200 routines.

None of the dances she does really count as parapara.. closest one is maybe Trauma.

Most of the tour have lesson segments where they teach the dance at the final live. Such is the case for Humming and independent.. and MY ALL for half of the 3rd DVD of AT08..

I'd love to get the DVD and learn them, really, but the only thing I can use a Japanese DVD for in the US is a coaster to put my drinks on.

^ Doesn't your PC play them? You could always just request them in the media section?

You can only change the DVD region on a computer disc drive so many times (3, I think) before your locked with the last one you changed it to. Although Japanese DVDs would probably be the only thing I play from my computer (at which point I could copy the CDs and send them to the main computer), I don't want to be stuck with one region. And now that I think about it, that's a bit of a paradox. Because by not changing the region code, I'm locking myself with one region anyways...

I might just change the region code to region 2 and just deal with it...

And I don't like to ask for downloads of copyrighted material. I've done it already with the German UNITE! single, but I have strong intentions to get a legal copy of the CD.

^ Yes. But you already own the DVD so you can legally obtain it that way.

^ I don't believe I said I have the DVDs... (did I?) Anyways, if I did say it, I don't have any DVDs. I've debated buying some, but I just never did. It was the whole region code stuff that kept me from buying them... that and the price... I'll have to buy some someday.

^ Ah you're right. I misread your post. Sorry! ^_^;;;

Is it possible you could obtain a cheap Japanese DVD player for it/when you get the DVDs?

Actually, I have a program where you can change it automatically and not have to rely on the "region switch" ohoho.

@ Furashubakku, its fine. I've thought of that, but I've never looked into it because I want the DVDs more to put them onto my iPod than to watch them on a TV.

@ truhappiness, I've heard of a program like that, but I haven't bothered to dl it, since I don't have any DVDs to use it with.

u can also use VLC 0.8.6c it ignores the region codes

do a search for VLC on FileHippo... they have every single version that was ever released for download

and if it asks if you want to do an Auto update click no... i found out that i had that set up and my ayu dvds wouldnt work anymore since the newer versions of VLC will not play all regions

^thanks

OK, in an effort to keep this thread from being hijacked, I ask kindly if we could please get back on topic. Its not that what you all said wasn't helpful, because it was, and thank you. I just don't want the thread to stay off topic. So... Ayu's paraparas... Ayu help with them? I'm mostly concerned with independent. None of the vids stay on Ayu long enough for me to learn it. If need be, I can learn MY ALL from the vid sample on iTunes JP... >_<

They are not parapara routines. They are just dance routines for fans to do.

I'd say it's better for you to just download a concert rip and learn from the MY ALL / independent / Humming dance lessons.

http://secsecae.multiply.com/

This site has all of her tour footage online.

Basically they aren't really.. dances.. per se..
UNITE!: Right arm for the first chorus, left arm for second, then some grapevinish leg movements

independent: arm up, arm down, then safe/out alternating.. and that's about it with some front/back sweeps

Humming 7/4: Jumping during everybody go everybody jump

MY ALL: Most complicated dance so far imo, has some finger movement, flipping hands and lowering them, pushing in front of you, etc...

As far as I know, AT03-04 had the independent dance, AT05 had Humming, CDL07-08/AT08 has MY ALL..

But that's about it.

Rename this thread, or ask a mod to. Parapara routines these are NOT, haha.
