Wink Would this be silly?

If I deleted all my music off iTunes, then put my Ayu then BoA music on, then my other stuff put on if there was room, would that be silly?

Probably. As far as space on your computer goes, you more than likely have plenty of harddrive space. But if you tell me which operating system you're using, I might be able to tell you how to find out much you have left. As far as iPod space goes, the iPod automatically stops adding songs when it reaches its limit. However, the order in which it puts songs on can affect which songs end up on the iPod when it reaches its capacity. You can control this by loading the songs on playlist by playlist. In iTunes, go through "insert-your-name-here's iPod" then click the music tab near the top, and then there should be a check-box for "only sync selected playlists" (or something to that effect). If you aren't using an iPod, then I'm not sure... (sorry)

or you can always manually upload your songs onto your iPod.
one by one, or you can select a whole bunch at a time (using shift).
that's how i do it. i hate when it automatically syncs everything

Yeah, its kinda silly. You don't really have to do all that. Like Ayurox and jean said you can manually put you want in your ipod (assuming you're using a ipod). For me I created playlists of all the artist and just move the files into the playlists. It does take some times to do though. Currently, I have a 8GB ipod and my itunes library on my computer has about 14 GB. My Ayu's playlist took up about 3GB in my ipod, the rest are other artists and I have like less than 5MB left... lol. Sometimes I just rotate my playlist around.

Yeah I just don't get why? Are you out of harddrive space?
