Make your answer to one of Ayu's songs!

I thought, wouldn't it be wonderful if all the Ayu fans get a chance to write their own material concerning one of Ayu's songs? I think there's a somewhat similar post on this concerning a project, but from what I remember there'll be voting on the best cover, so here you can make your own poem or lyrics in answer to one of Ayu's songs with no judgment on it so everyone can do this!
Humor if fine too, I know someone's bound to make a joke about eggs, or a parody of Ayu's Engrish. (Still an lol thing.)

Anyway, the song I wrote my reply to was "Pride" and it roughly follows the tune to the song as well. So here it is:

Answer to: "Pride"

What is it we want,
If we fool ourselves into thinking,
that we are not free.
there is something out there,
something that you’ll never believe is true,
even in this world,

Ah if this world is fleeting,
what can we ask for,
in that we always seek for ourselves
the truth that comes unbidden
into our lives and seeks us
Is it really what we truly want?

As we struggle, we find many ways
to ask ourselves, what life is really like?
what then can we seek, if we look at life like
like it was fine, when it’s really not?

If we seek a dream, is it always the right thing?
is this world only the one that we have now?
ah, if the world is fleeting do we always trust it?
Is it always the same as the truth that doesn’t lie?

Surely somewhere is the truth that calls out to us,
we only have to look for that place where flowers do
wait for us, surely the world isn’t so cruel, even with
all the lies.

Ah if this world is fleeting, surely we have no
reason to fear the unknown, even with a laugh,
the truth lights the way in our lives, there’s nothing to fear,
not even giving up.
