I finally finished watching all episode! Yes it's cheesy! It's it's so bad that it's good (like Ayu said)! And yes I don't care about Anzai Kalen's acting nor how she stood motionless when imitating Ayu live, because all those Ayu songs played during the drama made me so happy that I wanna cry!

For long time Ayu fans like me (been a fan since A Best), this drama is just amazing! It brings me so much memories! I recognize it's a drama so not everything is factual (e.g. some of the sequences are off, not to mention the highly controversial casting for Masa), but it gives a general outline of the struggle Ayu went through during her first couple years with Avex. And the final episode viewership is 4.8 which is quite good for the time slot this drama was aired which is usually lower.

Plus during the last episode we saw the CM for her latest song, Ohia no Ki. To me that just signifies how Ayu has accepted her past (having her past portayed in a drama and don't give a damn) and is ready to moved on to next stage in life. But regardless, Ayu is always the Queen to her fans like me, regardless of how she has changed. Congratulations Ayu and we'll be waiting for her next work!
