Cool The Killers!!

Anyone here like them? I just heard their new album "Sam's town" and it is something really fantastic. When they released their first album, I loved the singles, but never felt the need to listen more, but this new one is just great. Everyone should hear a few songs by them, they're worth it.

I just like the song 'Somebody Told Me'. Then again, I only heard about 5 songs from them

Maybe I'll get around to hearing Sam's Town

I was wondering when someone would make this thread The album has alreayd been leaked for a week.

I love Sam's Town. It may not be as great as HOT FUSS in my opinion, but it's a worthy follow up. I like Where The White Boys Dance, Bones, When You Were Young, Bling (Confessions of a King) and For Reasons Unknown.

I just feel sad that they moved on to their unique sound present in HOT FUSS. To much of the songs in Sam's Town sounds similar.

Loooove the Killers. Hot Fuss had such an awesome, unique sound. I actually didn't know they were due for a new album, so I'm excited to hear that it's out! Can't wait to check it out.

The Killers are Great. They Recently did a Gig in the City I Live in, Although I Didn't go, and they sold out pretty fast. Their Album 'Hot fuss' was one of the Best Albums I've Heard, and Hopefully I'll get their new Album sometime soon.

I pretty much like them, although my sister listen to them more than I do.

I listen to their songs now and then, but I do not know if it's their new or old stuff.

I absolutely love "All these Things That I've Done" but other than that not much. I don't like their new single, it's so.. bleh. Also, Mr. Brightside isn't good at all.

i've always been a fan of the killers; i think the new album is great.

however, sam's town has been getting some pretty bad reviews everywhere.
(less catchy/more indepth)

^I kinda agree with that. Lyrically, really deep and sophisticated music isn't all that enjoyable when sung upbeat... it's quite confusing. I still don't get the lyrics of any of the songs, mainly because I can't hear them. Musically, I don't know why The Killer's had to be "inspired" by Bruce Stringsteins etc, when their own music was perfect to beging with.

Also the booklet is very boring Still a nice album though ^_^

I saw them in concert a while ago! They put on an absolutely great show. I went only knowing a couple songs, but by the end I had been made a fan My favourite song is All These Things That I've Done, by far ^^ And Jenny was a friend of mine if pretty awesome

i really like the killers! i've been a big fan of them since their first album. i don't like the new album as much, but its still really good.

it irks me though because i hate the new album artwork! it just totally doesn't look like something the killers would do. its so...country western meets the hills have eyes.
