So, I have a school project to make a website about my favorite singer...

I have an HTML project to make a website about my favorite singer~!
Of course, I'm choosing Ayu!

It has to be SIMPLE (we've only done HTML for 3 weeks), so I can't put too much graphics, etc...

This will be shown to my classmates (I'm in 10th grade), and my teacher, so I need your advice please!

My requirements are: at least 3 photos of the artist, a discography with album covers and song lists, 3 playable songs, and 1 song needs to start as soon as you enter the page.

I'm thinking of using Microphone, alterna or talkin' 2 myself as the song that plays automatically, and I'm thinking of a Rock'n'Roll Circus theme (with the photobook/insert book images). But at the same time I need to show she does more than just rock, so I haven't yet picked the 3 playable songs.

I'm looking for your input please! Suggestions are more than welcome! Should I change the automatic song, the theme, which images, etc....!

If it's gonna be R'n'RC themed, pick R'n'RC songs to play It'd make the most sense imo.

It sounds like it's a cool project <3 I wish I got cool projects like that when I was in highschool

I think Microphone is a great choice for the starting song. For that, you should pick something fairly new and really powerful, and Microphone obviously meets those requirements. For the other three songs, I say pick one popular ballade (HEAVEN, Dearest, Days...), one experimental/non-traditional pop song (Duty, Bold & Delicious, Don't look back...), and then one of your favourite songs that's either a classic (M, A Song for xx, Boys & Girls...) or a song that you feel represents Ayumi well (what ever one of your favourite songs may be, that you would use to show off Ayu ). Try to not pick the three songs from the latest album, or all from the same eras or such, so that it's more interesting.

For the theme, you should go with what ever era the song that you choose to auto-start is from. So if you choose Microphone, definitely go for the Rock'n'Roll Circus theme. If you choose, say, Dearest, make sure you have the I am... theme to match that.

For images, definitely make sure you pick a wide variety of the styles she's shown us. Just pick which ever pictures you love best, from the beginning, and the middle, and the current parts of her careers.

You should definitely have A Song for xx played. For 2 next songs... hmm... Maybe one song from I am... and one from her past 2004 works? Dunno if it necessary to choose one of her most favourite songs in fandom.

I think microphone is a risky option as the automatic song to play, imagine that someone enters the page with the speakers at top volume... xDDD the organ intro is like... WHOA! and some people may just close the page at the first second.

I would choose something smooth like BALLAD or Last Links if you're going on with the R'n'RC theme.

It'd be nice if you got to show different sides of Ayu I think. Maybe something cute but mature, something rocker-ish, and maybe something grand like one of her bigger dresses she uses in ballads...

I think Microphone is good as the starting song; it matches the page's theme and it would sound so great and grand.

I think it'd be kind of neat to have Evolution be the automatic song and have the site I am... themed. I say that because there are so many huge, gorgeous I am... graphics. They'd make GREAT backgrounds.

I think as automatic song, it might be a soft song, not a rock. I think about Who... instrumental version, I have the same reason marioryck said.

Pick all songs from RnRC. Probably You Were..., Sexy Little Thing and Microphone. Different genre imo.

For the image, Vivi May, Microphone PV, MW cover, the image from TA blog.

theme could be RnRC. It's a good idea.

I would recommend having an instrumental song as the automatic opening for your website. Either that or a soft song so you don't have to risk coming off too strong. Like others have said above me, try to show the different sides of Ayu, but again, nothing too strong because you want people to discover that side of Ayu on their own because like any other artist, Ayu isn't for everyone.

As opening/automatic songs I would recommend:
- BALLAD
- rainy day
- fairyland (goes against what I said about a softer song but it starts off light and builds up nicely, allowing the audience to warm up to that particular sound. Plus, it's a great, fun Ayumi song that you can't go wrong with as an opening song or otherwise)
- NEXT LEVEL

As the three playable songs I would recommend:
- Marionette
- STEP you (definitely)
- Pride
- Sexy Little Things
- HANABI ~episide II~

with songs. I would pick 3 very diverse songs. prove she's not just rock. and prove she's not just pop. maybe something like:

Jewel (ballad)
talkin' 2 myself (rock)
sexy little things (pop)
connected (dance/techno)

or something like that to really show how diverse she is. I also think you should open up with an interlude like tasking. that would be really cool.

as for pictures. do the same thing as the songs. make them very diverse. show her sexy side. her emotional side, her cute side. and her "just being ayu" side. since you have to put up her discography with pictures, those will already be used but I think those are also her most diverse pictures. startin', blue bird, secret, I am..., Rainbow, Carols. as for photoshoots, not so much, but she does have some very nice ones. and you an also use off shots.

you said that you need at least 3 pictures. but I see no problem in doing many more than that lol. especially if you get some people really interested in her. then you would have more to show of her.

You should pick three completely different songs!

-A rock song (About you, Mirrorcle World, Microphone)
-A pop song (independent, Real Me, Next Level)
-A ballad (CAROLS, GREEN, RAINBOW)

I would choose one from each of those categories! I tried in every category to choose songs that weren't too related. The ballads for example are all completely different sounding~ Give it flavor.

As for photos, I would choose completely different looks like Startin' Ayu, Never Ever/talkin' 2 myself Ayu, and A Complete-era Ayu.
