Questions about a few ayu songs being sampled from others..

Ok, a few ayu songs have been sampled from other songs.

The ones i know are:

Free & Easy - the beginning was copied from the song No Amen, from the movie The Messenger: The story of Joan of Arc. I never knew if they really got permissiion though....funny enough there's no credits or reference to it having been sampled on the CDs.

Pride - The song is heavily sampled on the "crucified" song by some creepy group I can't quite remember the name now (was it "Army of Lovers?).

walking proud - the chorus was sampled from a Kinki kids song, but I can't remember the name of the song now.

poker face(Spiritual Guidance Mix) - it is a rip off of a dance song, but I also can't remember the name.

SEASONS - the very beginning was sampled from Roxette's Listen To Your Heart
glitter - when she's says "Yes still believe in love" was sampled from the Backstreet Boys song "I Want It That Way" when they say " But I want it that way..."
(Ok, I'm joking about SEASONS and glitter there, they just remind me of those but they weren't obviously samples of them, so don't take it seriously)

My question is: are there other songs in which she sampled? I'm not talking about covers here, nor songs that have 100% same composition but different lyrics (rainy day, memorial address, Ladies Night, Bold & Delicious, In The Corner, Connected, Sotsugyou shashin, Teens, etc), just the ones that indeed seem to have an exact simillar sample of composition from another song. Also, which was the name of the Kinki kids song that has a very simillar chorus to walking proud? Does anyone have the full mp3? I only remember listening to a short clip of it.

Also, which was the song that poker face(Spiritual Guidance Mix) ripped off from?

I can't remember its name either.

NOTE: This thread was not made to disrespect ayu. The huge majority of her songs are definitely not sampled from others and are 100% original. And you can see by the examples I've given that those are only very few compared to her entire discography.

The KinKi Kids song was ANGEL. I think it was off their H album.

well, definitely (which is why I didn't mention Ladies Night, Rainy day, Bold & Delicious and In The Corner), but Pride is an exception, because Geo actually "borrowed" the chorus of Pride from "Crucified", which is a much older song than both Ayu's and Sweetbox Pride.

Oh I see I didn't know about that . Because Sweetbox has a habit of sampling famous melodies & tunes & incorporating them into their music .

I didn't realised the melody of Pride was a sample of another song

Yeah, Geo has that weird habit...I wonder if he does that in legal terms though. However, he usually does that with classical songs, which wouldn't really need any legal permission, so I've always wondered if the crucified song sampled on any classical piece as well...

As far as I know, that's just some common clapping people use during baseballl games.

I thought it was just used in music as a beat (I've heard songs with it before).
There was a rumor that Humming 7/4 sampled from Meant to Live by someone idk their name.

I'm sure GEO did that with permission . If you wish to cover or sample a song , you definitely have to seek permission before doing so or else you will be faced with a lawsuit involving royalites fees & the works

I guess they sign the terms and leave it behind the curtains...still, weird LOL

^ The remix sounds like a really lame attempt to go around copyright, the sound of it is exactly the same as the original, but the melody is slightly changed. Somehow it does fit poker face tho.

maybe GEO put in the album sleeve credits ? that might happen I don't know
