Aragaki Yui

Aragaki Yui (born on June 11, 1988) is a singer, actress, seiyu, and an occasional radio show host. She was born in Naha Okinawa, Japan. Yui is well known from starring in the 2007 movie, "Koizora", starring Miura Haruma (). Her music career started in 2007, as well, when she released her first album "Sora", on December 5th. The album debuted at #2 on the Oricon charts and managed to get #3 for the first week. Her second album, "Hug", was released on June 17, 2009 and it debuted at #3 on the Oricon charts and managed to get #5 for the first week. She will release her third album, "Niji", on September 22, 2010.

Aww. She's definitely not the best singer in the world but I like some of her music cause her personality really shines through. When she debuted I was like WTFGARBAGE though .

i've been listening to yui for 2 years, but i never thought to make a thread because i wasn't sure there were a good amount of fans on here. but now i just figured i'll do it, regardless. she deserves a thread!

she may not be the best singer, but i think she does beautiful ballads. i'm loving "WALK" alot

I had a like-dislike relationship with Heavenly Days haha~ I really like it now though. I guess I had to get used to her voice. Make my day and Utsushie are probably my faves and her cover of Kobukuro's Akai Ito was pretty good. The joint PV they did was really nice, I loved it.

So she's releasing another album without any singles before it hm... It worked for Sora because of Heavenly Days and the movie and that was plenty of promotion so I hope she has some other good tie ins for this album too.
