Set Decoration in Ayu's MVs
I really like the set decoration in "Alterna" (the "Hopes to Be a Star" scene) and "Marionette". Now that I'm in a film-making class and one of my upcoming assignments is to make a music video, I'd perhaps like to replicate those looks. Does anyone know the kind of styles/decor used in each of those videos? For example, is the decor in "Marionette" Victorian or what?
P.S.: And if, as a bonus, you could offer tips on how to achieve those looks on a budget (I live in the US BTW), I would be really, really greatful.* Hehehe. ![]() *Sic. That was a pun. |

You basically can't replicate these looks cheaply.....they were designed by professionals and took real time and effort.....on a budget, you could go to PartyCity? Ever heard of it? Iunno....Halloweens coming around soon and perhaps you'll get lucky and find something similar.

Or if your area does hard rubbish collections why not drive around with a trailer and grab what you can for free?
![]() If you don't know what hard rubbish collection is, it may be called something else where you live ^^;; It's when the council lets you put things like couches, old mattresses, scrap metal and other things too large for the regular bins on the side of the road. The council collects it and dumps it/recycles it for you. Usually people go at night with their own trailer and steal the metal to on-sell it. Sometimes people throw away pretty cool stuff though, although I've never had the time to go hunting myself lol |
