Would you support Ayu if...

She did a Shiina Ringo and fronted a band like Tokyo Jihen? Would you still support her? I would like Ayu to join the band Boris for an album, imagine ayu's voice on this

I consider ayumi already having a band. She has had the same people for years now.
But I like her music and I think she would bring something to a group.

Um maybe. But for now I could only see Ayu as a solo artist.

I think it could really take her places that a solo act couldn't give her...and it would be interesting to see where others input could take her musically. I wouldn't fault her for giving it a shot someday down the line

I'd like her to do it like Shiina did it: Having a band as side-project for a couple years and then returning to solo work entirely. Ayu's voice works best with poprock in my opinion, so being in a band would suit both her voice and her performing style.

But they're not a real band, they're just hired musicians that perform the music they'tr given. Where as a band creates music.

I actually would probably like seeing ayu be a part of a band, it'd be interesting lol so I'd support it.

I'm not typically used to supporting solo artists like ayu anyway. Most of my favorites are bands.

I feel that Ayu is too individualistic to be working in a band.
She will want to stand out, and there's no I in team.

But if the band thing happens, well, it feels the same?
She already has that band feeling going on in her concerts.

I think it would do her good to let somebody else take create control, even if just for a few songs. It would give her a needed creative boost.

Would it work? I don't think so. It would be Ayu + band, not the whole band.

Yes, especially if she was going to be crazy involved in the writing process.

I think I have a very hard time not seeing her as a solo artist though.

as long as she still focuses more on her solo career than her band career.
