is this boy related with ayu?or is just a coincidence?

I think they only got the same last name, I don't think Hamasaki is a super unique last name in japan. My guess is that it's just coincidence

I don't think any members of her family are that famous so it is easy for us to find out about them, perhaps only her mother since she owns that chocolate shop called Hanabi

I would love to find out more about her family though! And even about her family tree and stuff lol Btw anyone knows where the surname "Hamasaki" comes from and stuff??

Hamasaki is a common surname in Japan. I remember there's a guy with this surname in Chibi Maruko-chan? LOL

Ayu's latest drummer's last name is Hamasaki. Very cool, but they are not related, haha.

I remember that in Digimon season 2 episode 1 there was this teacher called "mr. Hamasaki" . I MEAN IT!!!
