Russian Roulette doesn't really go anywhere. It's lacking in... something. Her first singles are always huge songs, this is lacking that huge factor that Pon De Replay/SOS/Umbrella had. Ah well. :/

I was expecting Te Amo as the lead single but I really like RR too. The gun shot at the end is very powerful and so are the lyrics, but I do agree with Keepsgettinbetter in that it lacks that "huge factor". I still hope it does well though!

It's received very little promotion taking the fact that it will come out in 33 days.

Just listened to Russian Roulette <3 I think it does have that special something, it's lyrics are actually quite deep and her voice carries it very well. I think it'll go down well with the public as a low-toned power ballad ^-^ It's something different from her well-publicised Disturbia and Umbrella.

ストロボ・EdGE: I know right? Rihanna is HUGE in the U.K and yet I haven't even heard one bit of news of her new album, never mind of a new single o-o; It's weird, cause the news of all her other singles hit the presses like, three months before release. xD

I think Russian Roulette's defining moment is not in the actual singing, but that moment just at the end when she takes a nervous breath and the gun goes off

i usually dont like rihanna, but Russian Roulette is an amazing song. i really love it. you cant hear her bad vocals in it, she sounds quite good in the song. im surprised!

And the song apparently was co-written with Ne-Yo. Bleh.

I'm about to listen to the song now. Given the Ne-Yo news, I doubt I'll like it.
