So, lets do this. Any 5 thoughts / opinions for new album FIVE?

This is my thoughts

(1) Gorgenous - The cover is totally stunning and typical Leslie Kee's work. He definitely knows what is the best for ayu.

(2) Surprise - I expected ayu would release another single in this summer, but it turn out a mini-album.

(3) Weird - some weird song title (ANother song) remains me "MY NAME'S WOMEN, and I believe it has some meaning behind it?

(4) Money - the avex marketing, as usual, is the money hunter. It just want to squirt more money from ayu's fan!

(5) Long waiting - Have been long waiting that ayu could have a album releasing in summer. Now it becomes true!

1. Surprised to see Ayu release mini album again.
2. Simple but interesting album titled. 'FIVE' album with 5 songs.
3. Fashionable covers. They're so different from her past covers and no 'Fish Lips' Yay!
4. Hate to see her featuring with someone because Ayu's voice doesn't suit anyone.
5. PVs are so late!! I need to see them ASAP!

[1] Surprise - I really was waiting for a summer single with 2 a-sides, not a mini-album.
[2] OMG! - Covers are totally amazing, unexpected after the latest covers xD
[3] Atypical - I wasn't expecting 2 featurings in it.
[4] Ballads - I think will have more ballads than I expected.
[5] Voice - Maybe in this project her voice will be the most important.

I only care about the songs and the PVS. So far we haven't seen any of the PVs. As for the songs, progress = mind blowing. beloved has nice lyrics and Why... sounds nice over all. The latter two are nothing exceptional though. Compared to Memorial address this album doesn't sound that amazing tbh and I doubt the other two songs will improve the over-all feeling that I'm getting.

1. Covers are great! I'm fine with the font. It has a bit more interest than usual. Typically I cringe at whoever does the type design.
2. I feel like there should be a few more songs in a mini-album, despite the concept of "FIVE". Have 7 songs and call it "SE7EN", or something (and yes I know that's a movie).
3. beloved was boring the first 10 times, but now it's grown on me.
4. Progress and Why are promising, will sound even better in HQ.
5. Where's the promotion? Have they cut budget from advertising to make 5 PVs instead of, say 3?

1. The album arts are giving a different vibe. Not sure if it's good or bad.
2. Ayu starts to collaborate more with other singers.
3. New obvious vocal techniques make their appearance in this mini-album.
4. Live performances are anticipated to freshen up the songs.
5. CMs are in question.

1) Surprised to see a mini album again, but in a nice way MA is enjoyable but not my "ideal" mini-album so I'm looking forward to this one a lot!

2) Excited for the duets, I really like them (although I wish GACKT was dueting somewhere there too )

3) Cover looks amazing, though there's not a clear "theme" link between the title and the imagery....hope that's clearer in the music! Maybe five songs that epitomise Ayu, sort of a reflection of her personality, hence the focus on her face here?

5) I'm avoiding previews other than CMs and the progresss preview so I enjoy the album more when I get it in full (maybe I'll DL the leak in full but hopefully YA ships fast for once!)

1. Some of the most gorgeous covers of her entire career. I seriously love both of then (not counting the anime one)
2. The songs (that have leaked so far) sadly add nothing new to her discography. They're uninspired and forgettable
3. Her voice sounds about average compared to how it's been lately. Not really better or worse sounding imo
4. Can't comment on the PVs yet since we haven't seen any of them
5. ...it's kind of expensive for a five song mini album? Idk lol
