GOOD and WORST songs: Asian/American artist collaborations

I'm not sure if anyone has made a threat similiar to this topic before, if so I apologize in advance. I was thinking about it when a few songs came up on my itunes.. Every so often an Asian singer or band will collaborate and feature an American (or English speaking) artist regardless of what language the song is primarily in. Sometimes its super random and with that said it is either good and or really bad.

In your opinion which songs are good and bad? Or what is your favorite Asian/American song collaboration? And what song(s) do you think are the worst?

One I think that is good and one that I think is the one of the worst would be:

I'm not saying its my favorite, but I just listened to Wonder Girls & Akon - Like Money and having Akon doesn't hurt the song, his rap actually flows with the song and I like it. Of course its Akon and when appearing in another band or singer's song, he's usually good so no complaints really.

However one of the worst song collaborations for me is Koda Kumi - V.I.P. feat. T-Pain (Album version). I thought the single version without T-Pain was super addictive. When I hear the album version, it just is too random, unnecessary and the rap is super bad. Just doesn't add any element in the song to make it better than the original! :S

Can't think about the good ones right now but I'm not big fan of Koda Kumi's That Ain't Cool (feat. Fergie).

I really like this one:

and even if I dislike BoA a lot, I find this one to be really addictive

And even prefering the original, this one is quite nice:

I'm indifferent towards V.I.P. with T. Pain but I do prefer it without him.

That ain't cool feat. Fergie has to be one of the worst. I like the song but the English, teh fact Fergie shines mor ethe Kuu, etc. Yeah, I can do without.

Well I like :
"Like Money" WonderGirls ft. Akon
But My favorite will go to "BLACK OUT" Namie Amuro ft. Lil Wayne... I don't know why but I find it super addictive and well balanced !

I don't like :
"Girls" Se7en ft. Lil Kim... just because I only do like one and only part : the first half of lil kim part... that's it... this song is pretty boring overall... a good track bt not single worthy
"Heartbreaker" G-Dragon ft. Florida... because florida add NOTHING to the song and quite downgrade it
the worst go to "That Ain't Cool" Koda Kumi ft. Fergie... like the song says : that ain't cool at all : no climax... bad track IMO that just provide nothing... at all... very boring... And not really refreshing considering what Kuu did, does and will do.

Koda Kumi feat Fergie's That Ain't Cool is ain't cool at all in any single way

Even before I've heard this song , I didn't like that it was overhyped & needless to say when I heard it , I was sorely disappointed

On the other hand , I'm indifferent with V.I.P feat T-Pain but I thought Koda's collaborations with Omarion in Slow & Brendon Howard in Passing By were enjoyable respectively

Ugh, yes. I hate Fergie so this song is totally ruined. I wish she had a minor part and Kuu sang most of the song in Japanese but no. -.-

Good collaborations are imo V.I.P. feat. T-Pain and Slow feat. Omarion from JAPONESQUE. I haven't heard many collaborations but I think that these are simply awesome. I also love Utada Hikaru's and Foxy Brown's Blow My Whistle. That song is so catchy even though it's pretty old. :p

I'm the only person here who actually loves That Ain't Cool Right now it's the best Asian/American collaboration I can think of.

As for the worst...maybe Like Money by the Wonder Girls, because Akon ruins it. If only he weren't in it, it could have been so good
