Thats not to say there aren't good songs lately. But its just that those songs seems like the best represent her. Whether because of the theme/meaning of the song or the popularity of the song. I also ended with Virgin Road because to be completely honest I haven't listen to Ayu much lately. Been so busy with life and school and don't really like the sounds of her albums lately after Secret there were just so many songs I would rather skip than listen to when going through an album.

Defining songs for me would be songs where, the songs that immediately come into my mind when I'm trying to think of Ayu. The instinct that comes with my thoughts defines what I see Ayu as.

It was pretty hard to decide which songs from the latter part of her career to put on the list! The only reason Virgin Road is even on this for me is because it was the most heavily promoted song when Ayu released L.

I'd say this is pretty comprehensive of what the Japanese public recognizes as her most famous records (ranging from the older to the more recent ones). Given that she hasn't really had a huge hit in a few years, I left out anything that went past NEXT LEVEL. "Days" would have been on the list if there were room for it--it's probably been her biggest contemporary hit. Can't really think of a record of hers since then that's had as much of an impact (though MOON and crossroad do come to mind).
