I personally love this single since I first heard it back in 2005.
Until today Bold & Delicous is one of my favourite Songs of her!
For me it still sounds fresh, powerful and energizing.
But I ever disliked the cover shooting

Bold & Delicious was my least favorite song (before XOXO release). But PoM made it a little better

I love both songs, in a quirky type of way. The videos were different for her, and have a nice place in her repertoire.

However, I do think this single is a bit plagued by "copying." The video for Bold & Delicious is so reminiscent of Bjork's "Big Time Sensuality." In and of itself I don't mind the similarity or homage. However, mixed with one of Geo's unoriginal compositions for Pride, which clearly copies the song "Crucified" by Army of Lovers -- it's just too much. It really undermines the quality of the single in my opinion.

All that said, I still like the songs and videos. I think it's just an unfortunate situation.

Pride is a great song. B&D's alright, but the newer version from PoM/CDL13-14/PSC made it so much better.

I actually liked Bold and Delicious.

And Pride has always been an anthem of mine...

I don't really care for either of the A-sides, (I don't hate them, as I warmed up to them quickly, but I haven't been in the mood to subject myself to listening to them for ages); however...

THOSE REMIXES ARE FIRE!

HEAVEN is like a warm, blanket of luxurious soundwaves.

And Will has such great attention to detail in the mix, it really keeps you entertained while listening.

I love the PV; Ayu looks AMAAAAAAZING in it!
But, what drives me insane is how the words don't match her mouth at the end when she utters the final phrase "Bold, and DELICIOUS." Like, really? How can someone as an editor be so imprecise??

I think she looks absolutely gorgeous and beautiful in the PVs and the covers. The covers are so different for her, though I do think they take on a 90s Christian pop singer kind of look like...Stacie Orrico or something...>.> But they are really pretty!! The exotic colors in her shirt with the jeans turned into an outfit I wish I had/could pull off.

Pride will always be in my top 15 Ayu songs list. I can tell what a struggle the notes probably were for her as she always sounds...kind of off when singing it live. But, speaking of lives, she looked so freaking unbelievable in some of her live performances during this period! I really wish there was a remastered version of Pride, though, one that REALLY enhances the feeling of it. And to be honest...I wish there was a trance mix of it, but I suppose that's just asking for wayyy too much.

Never been very fond of B&D, but I absolutely grew to love Pride. The lyrics are everything tbh.
