The 1st Eri Nobuchika Thread!


Debuting under SONY Records back in 2004 with her song "Lights", Eri has released 4 Singles, a DVD single, an album, a remix album, and quite a lot of vinyls until she went indies and signed onto Hills Records to release a mini-album, "hands".

In 2015, she will debut under the avex label, rhythm zone...here's the first glimpse!

Can't wait... Sie is sooo good... Yume no Kakera is one of the Best Songs ever released. After 8 years i still love her First Album.

I still jam to Lights and Kodou all the time; I first heard her debut album right around the time it was released...and I had no idea she signed with avex recently! Holy shit, this is so exciting!!!

I always feel so depressed when I think abut Eri Nobuchika. Her first album was amazing. Voice is one of the most powerful and soulful songs I ever heard. Her voice is perfect. Everything about her music back then was just amazing, but then Shinichi Osawa left and didn't produce her music any more, and she released hands I was so so disappointed, it made me really sad. To go from the power and beauty of Lights, and Voice, and all the other songs to just a bunch of boring as hell piano ballads. I'm listening to the preview for her new cover album now as I type this, and it's better than hands, but still really boring. I miss her debut music so so much. ugh

Lights was my fucking JAM! Love her so much. It's weird seeing her comeback, because I'm used to all my faves giving up lol looking at you Yuna Ito. Can't wait to see what avex has to offer.

Ooooh she's coming back! I always meant to check her out as I heard Lights was good! Now is a good time to finally buy the album!

I wonder how it took so long for her to get re-signed?

Seriously!!! According to her twitter and instagram, she seems to be doing some recording or something and dance training. But seriously, it's been like five years now. I need her to come back lol

I've never listened to Eri before, but I like Lights, so I am going to check out her debut album.

i've been soo in love with her debut album again recently. it is still one of the best albums in my collection.
its great to see her again! the previews sound ok...so, we'll just have to wait and see what they do with her.

Omg haven't thought about her in so long.

I was obsessed with her first album. I remember seeing Lights by chance on the Sony.jp site around its release. I looooved it haha.

Her debut album was so good. I haven't listened to it in a long time tho. Lights is a really good song.

The previews are indeed awful. honestly I dont think she can ever top Voice, but she needs to sing songs with a bit more personality to them.

She just needs to go back to electro-pop, along the same vein of Lights or Voice. Idk why she settles for this acoustic/laid-back bullshit.

Maybe because boring soulless music is what seems to be popular, even if it doesnt seem to be working for her voice? Shes not working with whats his name anymore right? So I think we should expect a complete change in style and if the previews are any indication...I think Ill go and Jam to Voice.
