Your favorite genre of music?

I'm interested in knowing everybody's favorite genre of music. If you want to provide examples too, that would be fantastic.

Edit: If there's a genre you like that's not listed, please feel free to include it! I forgot an 'other' option.

My favorite genres are:
Hard rock
Metal
Club
Electronic
Enka
Hip-hop
Rap
J-Pop
K-Pop
Pop

So basically, I like a lot of things with a harder beat, like metal/hard rock, hip hop/rap, etc... Music that is chaotic and fast is the simplest way for me to describe it, though that doesn't mean I don't enjoy slower, emotional, earthy music (ballads, enka), or uplifting, happy music (K-pop, J-pop).

Some examples are my favorite artists/groups: Dir en grey, System of a Down (metal/hard rock); Namie, Kuu, Ayu (J-pop, Pop, Electronic, Hip Hop); BIGBANG, BTS (K-Pop, Hip-hop, Rap).

Dir en grey (Hard Rock, Metal)

BTS (K-Pop, Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap)

I mostly listen to J-Pop and J-Rock, but if it's a great song I listen to everything. There is so much great music out there I don't want to limit myself to a specific genre.

I listen to almost everything but I voted for J-Pop, Pop and Latino, and when I say Latino for me is Spanish music because I don't listen to South American music actually.

I like a lot of different genres but the one that has held up through the years is Trance. But not the new style of Trance, I'm talkin' old uplifting Trance or Trance from the 90s. Some favorites of mine...

...and of course...

I've been kinda bummed that this style of Trance isn't really popular anymore but there are still some kind souls who create this sound (N20, Daniel Kandi, Dan Stone, etc).

My top 5 artists (according to last.fm) are Morning Musume, Ott Lepland, Matt Cardle, Cheyenne Jackson, Idan Haviv and Anthony Neely. Yet, even if none of them is country, I choose country as my favorite kind of music. It's just amazing!

Is... is new age a genre? I think so. I would label Kokia as new age.

Ah yes, that one is my favorite trance remix. I also miss that old style of trance. The other youtube links you provided are nice too *still listening*.
