what is some rare ayumi items?

after getting my kanariya cd from Ebay, i am addicted in collecting more rare stuff.

however, after browsing ebay, i find that ALOT of people just put the word RARE! on their items to make it look better and more appealing.

so i am very confused as you can imagine.

can anyone point out and list some rare cd's that ayumi has? or any items thats rare and valueble? that would be great.

oh and is "Ayumi Hamasaki A Single Black Limited Edition " rare?

I think the black version is the LEAST limited isn't it? I'm not sure...there's too many colours of the 'A' single, I think around 4 of the colours are rarer than the other ones, then the rarest is the gold one or something...? I'm not too sure about those actually...

rare singles- (We talk about Jpn ver only ok?)
the legendary 3- "appears", "kanariya", "Fly high"

other limited singles but not so difficult to find
- SURREAL (Rarer than AUDIENCE and Daybreak from what I know)
- AUDIENCE
- Daybreak

The 4, "OTHER SIDE Remix Singles", the "OTHER SIDE 1" is rarest, with only 10,000 copies (the red one), the other 3 are pretty rare also.

- Excerpts from Ayu-mi-x III (6 of them), are limited and pretty rare, but i've seen several here and there in HK.

some Analogs are rare, but I'm not sure which ones.
The original 3" singles are rare too if kept well.
And last but not least, the original Jpn version of "Nothing from nothing" of course.

monochrome - pink
too late - blue
Trauma - green
End roll - orange
regular version / monochrome - black
then a commemoration gold disk (monochrome) for selling 1,000,000copies...
then another gold disk / jacket (Trauma) for selling over 1,500,000...

SURREAL is more rare than the other limited singles, they all had 300,000pressings, but SURREAL was less... i think... [as it was only an initial pressing limited release...]

as for analogues... the M e.p / ayu-mi-x box set are among the rarest, althou there are promo analogues like Boys&Girls / WHATEVER etc, the orb remix analogues of [monochrome] were limited to less than 500copies, so i guess that makes them rate pretty highly in the rare stakes...

the [excerpts from ayu-mi-x III] box set is also a rarity, only 100 were issued to the first people to buy all 6 and send off tokens etc...

finally, the NOTHING FROM NOTHING single / mini album go for ridiculous prices...

Really? When I bought it in Kino last year, there was more than 1 copy there ^^

About analogues, appears mentioned the M EP, which (if I remember correctly) has only 350 or so copies in existence!

Well...technically, Daybreak, AUDIENCE and SURREAL all had 300,000 copies released each, but from what I've seen and what people have found, Daybreak and AUDIENCE's availability seems higher than SURREAL.~

his selling it seperatly, all together it is $US54.39

ripoff? ( 8.88 each 5 cd's then 9.99 for cd 1)

It's not really a rip off...you'd have to pay that much for a regular single anyways don't you...? But I think these are really only for collective purposes.

I saw it in our local HMV too! More than 1 copy too... Maybe it's not so rare in Singapore lolz. But the price is real steep.

Then contact them, and see if they'll switch it out for another cd. Never hurts to ask.

SURREAL differed from the other limited singles thou, they were all 300,000 copies, SURREAL was an initial pressing release only, so maybe less copies available than appears, kanariya, Fly high etc...

*cries* My parents won't let me buy Ayu's CDs off Ebay, so I'm only allowed to buy her stuff from this stores in Milpitas that sells for really high prices. And they only have like 3 singles anyways.

Ummmmmmm have you guys ever been to http://yesasia.com ? They have aaaaaaaaaaaall of this "rare" CDs that you are mentioning, they sell Daybreak for $8.00 I think, the Japanese version, and they aren't bootlegs I've bought some from there, they are all originals, they have all her CDs except for Fly High and her 3'' singles. You should check it out if you haven't.
