About Ayumi's songs..titles in them?

You know how usually most American artists have titles for their songs in their songs? Ayu usually doesn't do that, but rarely, one pops out. In her newest album the only one I've heard one from is "HONEY" but that's a background-y thing..Anyone notice any others?

I noticed this too, as some title name don't appear in the song lyrics. I think this is just some titles have an off-relation to the song, for ex., like how "Greatful days" relates to how summer days are days to treasure or be "greatful" for because you never know how many memories you will make.

I think it's neat how most of the songs don't have the title in it. It's different. Kind of gives the song more meaning.

It shows she can think! Like, she thinks of the overall concept of the song, NOT just one little line directly from the lyrics.

Or...... someone randomly gives the song a title and she nods her head in agreement. All of her song titles are just that to me, song titles. The majority of them don't seem to have any relation to the song itself. My opinion anyways.

I think she goes "how do you say [concept] in English?" and then she titles her song that I agree. A lot of them I dont find to be really related...

i actually like the song titles that are not in the song. it means that the artist has been thinking about the song, instead of just picking a name from a line that people are likely to remember

1) it's trendy to use English in Japan
2) Ayumi has said that her titles reflect the meaning of the song, though it seems like it doesn't always apply. I think she said something about how English words describe what she wants to say more clearly (probably because the words are concise)

*shrugs* I still think it's more likely that she's doing it because it's "western"

Voyage? Where is it heard?

Well, remember to include HANABI ~episode II~, although only hanabi is heard, and not the full name...

I always thought she did the titles in english (other the reasons stated) was because she thought it was more open? Like in america we're loud about our problems?

In monochrome, the title is refering to the way the city looks when she puts on her sunglasses..I like that one the most

You could be right. Her explanation for using English titles could be interpreted a few ways because it was so broad.
