Jade from Sweetbox

I just wanted to know more about it but it's hard to find a profile. SO if anyone is a huge fan of her and wouldn't mind telling me about her or finding a profile thanks.
All I know that I think she's with Avex-trax, and made music for Final Fantasy X-2 and that's about it.
Oh and why is she also called sweetbox? What's sweetbox?

I think it's her band. They usually mentioned 'Jade from Sweetbox' But I'm not a 100% sure. However, she did not make music for FFX-2. She sang the english version of the 2 theme songs 'real emotion' and '1000 words' which were original sung in japanese by koda kumi

Agrees^^ I was devastated when I heard Jade's versions in the game It felt like the beautiful theme songs of Final Fantasy were covered into American pop music X_X

Anyway, I remember reading from some articles that she is german but really popular in Japan though. I have no idea how reliable is this. If she hadn't sung for FFX-2, I wouldn't have known she existed

Yeah I knew that Koda kumi made the orginal versions duh!
And that jade just sung the american version, but I liked them both japanese and english.
I just wanted to know more about her, for one thing she doesn't look japanese and I kinda thought she was german cause I heard she reliesed an album in germany.
Wow! Can you believe that? Does Avex Trax take any singer of any race? That's awsome if they do!

Sweetbox kind of reminds me of the Ashlee Simpson of Japan (minus the acid reflux and SNL drama). She's got a unique feel to her but I'm kind of in the dark about what she exactly IS in Japan. I mean, duh she's a star but; is she as popular as any other artists over there or what?
I remember reading something about Sweetbox back in 1999 (sometime then) and a black woman was with in the group with her. Perhaps they split up and Jade kept the name of Sweetbox???

(In other words, I'm just as confused about "Jade from Sweetbox"'s career too...-_-

Yeah me too.
The thing that surprises me the most though is that you start seeing these american people. Olivia is from japan but you can tell she does not look japanese and Kuraki mai has a group of black people in her band and I am just so curious if Avex Trax takes any singer of any race.
This interesting I wonder how jade found her way to stardom...
